Description

PORTABLE CHARGING UNIT
TECHNICAL FIELD
The invention relates to a charging unit for electronic devices which can be made portable by being integrated with hardback stationery products, e.g. books, notebooks, datebooks, secretarial journals, and folders.
PRIOR ART
Today, electronic devices including mobile phones, tablet computers, notebook computers, etc. are commonly used mobile electronic devices. These devices require frequent charging, depending on how often they are used. However, charging these devices, which are used anytime at any place outside the house or workplace, remains a problem for the users. There exist portable charging devices having been developed to solve this problem. These devices generally referred to as "power bank" are commonly used today. Yet, these devices are neither practical nor suited for routine use due to their size and to the fact that one needs to carry them all the time. Therefore, they cannot offer a solution for meeting charging requirements of the electronic devices. On the other hand, these devices have a casing which protects the electronic equipment therein. Said casing is made of plastic or metal-like materials. The need for producing a separate casing for protecting the equipment causes additional production costs.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a portable charging unit which overcomes the aforementioned disadvantages and provides new advantages in the related technical field. The primary object of the invention is to provide a charging unit with the characteristics of ease of use and portability.
Another object of the invention is to eliminate the need for using plastic and metallic materials to form the outer casing as in the power bank devices within the state of the art.
In order to achieve all of the objects that have been mentioned above and will be clear from the following detailed description, the present invention relates to a portable charging unit. Said charging unit comprises;
- a hardback stationery product and following components being adapted to said hardback stationery product;
- at least one rechargeable battery,
- at least one control circuit which allows charging/discharging said at least one battery,
- at least one charging input for charging said at least one battery via said at least one control circuit, and
- at least one charging cable which transmits power from said at least one battery to the electronic devices so as to charge the latter.
The embodiment of the present invention and advantages thereof with the additional components must be considered together with the drawings explained below in order to be fully understood. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing the internal structure of the portable charging unit according to the invention. Fig. 2 is another perspective view showing the internal structure of the portable charging unit according to the invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In this detailed description, the novelty of the invention will only be described in order for the subject matter to be better understood, without any limitations.
Fig. 1 shows the internal structure of the portable charging unit (10) according to the invention. Accordingly, the charging unit (10) comprises a hardback stationery product (16), e.g. books, notebooks, datebooks, secretarial journals, and folders, as well as the following components being adapted on said hardback stationery product (16): a rechargeable battery (1 1 ); a control circuit (12) allowing said battery (1 1 ) to be charged/discharged; a charging input (13) for charging the battery (1 1 ) via said control circuit (12); and a charging cable (14) for charging the electronic devices through the battery (1 1 ). In an alternative embodiment of the invention, the portable charging unit (10) comprises a solar panel (15). Said solar panel (15) allows charging the battery (1 1 ) by conversion of the solar energy to the electrical energy.
In line with the above information, the portable charging unit (10) according to the invention functions as follows: The charging unit (10) is a portable nature thanks to the components being adapted on the hardback stationery product (16) such as books, notebooks, datebooks, and secretarial journals. The battery (1 1 ) of the charging unit (10) can be charged directly by electrical energy, or via the control circuit (12) using the electrical energy generated by solar panels (15). An electronic device which is desired to be charged by means of the portable charging unit (10) is connected with the charging cable (14). The charging cable (14) then allows charging of the electronic device by transmitting electrical energy from the battery (1 1 ) to said device.
The fact that the charging unit (10) is designed to be suitable for hardback stationery products (16) including books, notebooks, datebooks, secretarial journals, etc. of any size makes it easier for the users to carry and use the same. The hardback portion not only conserves the other parts of the stationery product (16), but also serves as a protecting cover for the electronic equipment of the charging unit (10).
