Abstract

L'invention concerne le domaine du marquage, notamment en ce qui concerne les armes à feu, à des fins d'identification ; le procédé consiste à ajouter dans le matière principal, au stade de fabrication de ladite matière principale, des particules hétérogènes (métalliques, composites, etc.) qui sont réparties dans la pièce à fabriquer ou dans l'article de façon chaotique ; dans chaque cas, la disposition réciproque des particules hétérogènes est unique et sera enregistrée après la fabrication de l'article en question ; elle pourrait être identifiée à un stade ultérieur, par exemple, par un procédé à rayons X (dans le cas d'inclusion métalliques dans la pièce ou l'article en plastique). Cela faisant, il est possible d'enregistrer la position obtenue des particules à la surface de la pièce ou de l'article ainsi que, si nécessaires, dans tout le volume de la pièce ou de l'article. On parvient à marquer les articles de façon univoque sans utiliser des moyens techniques spéciaux complexes pour appliquer le marquage; en outre, ce procédé permet d'obtenir un marquage qui ne peut pas être vu à l'oeil nu et rend impossible son imitation illégale.
