Abstract

La présente invention concerne un gel polymère compact comprenant du polyéthylène de poids moléculaire ultra-élevé désenchevêtré (DUHMWPE), de la térébenthine, au moins un agent de nucléation, au moins une charge, au moins un antioxydant, et éventuellement, au moins un lubrifiant. La présente invention concerne en outre un procédé de préparation d'un gel polymère compact. Le gel polymère compact de la présente invention est utilisé pour préparer des filaments de polyéthylène de poids moléculaire ultra-élevé désenchevêtré (DUHMWPE). L'invention concerne également un procédé de production de filaments de DUHMWPE. Les filaments de DUHMWPE ainsi obtenus présentent une résistance à la traction élevée, et un module qui les rend appropriés pour une utilisation dans le secteur de la défense, et le secteur médical.
