Definitions
- the present invention relates to a clothes dryer that can separate and dry clothes by using a basket.
- a clothes dryer is a device for drying clothes by blowing hot air into a drum into which wet clothes are put.
- the clothes dryer may be classified into an exhaust dryer and a condensation dryer according to a method of processing the humid air discharged from the drum in the process of drying the clothes.
- the clothes heated by the heater are supplied into the drum to dry the clothes, and the humid air discharged from the drum is exhausted to the outside of the dryer.
- This method eliminates the need for a separate means to condense the moisture since the moisture removed from the garment is discharged out of the dryer together with the air.
- the condensation dryer is circulated along a circulation passage configured to allow air heated by the heater to pass through the drum, in which the moisture contained in the air is condensed or removed.
- the problem to be solved by the present invention is, firstly, to provide a clothes dryer that can separate and dry the clothes that require separate drying from other clothes.
- the present invention relates to a clothes dryer for supplying hot air into a drum rotatably provided to dry clothes put in the drum.
- the clothes dryer includes a casing having a front panel in which the drum is disposed inward, a front panel having an inlet communicating with the inside of the drum, and a basket detachably coupled to the casing.
- the basket is for accommodating clothes separately from the drum.
- the basket is detachably coupled to the front panel while being inserted into the inlet.
- an inlet through which clothing is put is located in front of the drum, and a space in which clothes put through the inlet is accommodated is located in the drum.
- a plurality of through holes are formed in the basket so that the hot air supplied into the drum flows into the space.
- a door is rotatably coupled to the front panel, and the entrance of the basket is opened and closed by the door.
- the clothes dryer of the present invention has an effect of being able to dry separately from clothes put into a drum by putting clothes (eg, underwear) that require separate drying into a basket.
- the basket is detachable from the inlet formed in the casing, only when the clothes need to be separated and dried, the user can selectively install the basket, thereby providing convenience of use.
- the inlet should be opened. In this case, by simply removing the basket, it is not inconvenient to use even during normal drying using the drum.
- the basket can be separated from the casing, it is convenient to move the basket with the clothes in the state as it is.
