Abstract

The present invention refers to a rotating circular game table having multiple holes (pockets) for increasing the degree of difficulty of the game according to the method agreed by the players. The table is provided with a mechanism which allows the opponent to move the position of the holes or pockets, thus creating a higher degree of difficulty to the player before playing their next turn.

ROTATING CIRCULAR GAME TABLE
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present invention may be included in the field of games and entertainment, particularly, table games. More particularly, the object of the invention refers to a rotating circular game table having multiple holes (pockets) so as to increase the degree of difficulty of the game according to the method agreed by the players.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Several game tables are known in the state of the art. As an example there is the conventional pool table, being rectangular in shape with 6 holes (pockets), static and with fixed rails.
Other pool tables are provided with variations such as the circular table with modular edges (US 3,945,639 patent), cruciform game table (US 3,985,355 patent), table with obstacles (US ,431 ,186 patent), among others.
The present invention differs from the prior art in that this table comprises a mechanism which allows moving the pockets in the table periphery.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention refers to a rotating circular game table having a circular ring with holes (pockets) which rotates around a fixed round table.
The main object of the present invention is to provide a mechanism which allows the opponent to move the position of the holes or pockets thus creating a higher degree of difficulty to the player before playing their next turn. Then, an aspect of the invention refers to a game table characterized in that it comprises:
- a fixed central board,
- a rotating ring coupled around the central board wherein said rotating ring comprises a plurality of holes or pockets, and
- a rotation system configured for causing rotation of the ring around the board. The above elements enable the ring to be rotated as the user desires, while the central part thereof remains fixed.
In a preferred embodiment, the board is fixed to a support having supporting legs.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
The following is a detailed description, with the help of FIG. 1 referred to above, of an exemplary preferred embodiment of the present invention.
The following figures are not to scale. The actual dimension for each of the components may vary according to the user needs. The most significant details of the device are emphasized, so that a person not skilled in the art can clearly appreciate the concept. FIG. 1 is a front (FIG 1 A), side (FIG. 1 B) and panoramic (FIG. 1 B) elevation view of the game table of the present invention. It shows the central fixed board (1 ), as well as the rotating ring (2) coupled around the central board (1 ). The rotating ring comprises a plurality of holes or pockets (3) to be used during the game.
The board (1 ) is fixed to a support (4) having supporting legs.

C L A I M S
1 .- Rotating circular game table characterized in that it comprises:
- a fixed central board.
- a rotating ring coupled around the central board where said rotating ring comprises a plurality of holes or pockets, and
- a rotation system configured for causing rotation of the ring around the board.
2.- Game table according to claim 1 , wherein the board is fixed to a support having supporting legs.
