- each vertical alveolus (2) comprising on its capped upper part at least one air inlet valve (5) and at least one air outlet valve (6), the valves (5, 6) respectively connected to one said suction air duct (9) and to one said compression air duct ( 8 ) ; wherein, in operation, the power plant is arranged such that the waves provide an oscillating water column inside each alveolus (2), movement of the oscillating water columns in the totality of the alveoli (2) alternately generates air suction in some alveoli and compression in the others, thus generating alternate opening and closing respectively of the air inlet valve (5) and the air outlet valve (6), thereby creating a continuous air flow passing through the turbogenerator group ( 7 ) .

Abstract
La présente invention concerne une installation pour la production d'énergie électrique à partir d'énergie des vagues, formée par des plateformes flottantes (1) ancrées au fond marin et constituée d'alvéoles verticales (2) qui sont coiffées sur le dessus et ouvertes en dessous, la ligne de flottaison (10) étant la moitié de la hauteur des alvéoles. Lorsque la vague (4) monte à l'intérieur des alvéoles, elle comprime l'air, par conséquent la fermeture des soupapes d'entrée (5), l'ouverture des soupapes de sortie (6) et la sortie de l'air via les conduits de compression (8). Lorsque la vague descend à l'intérieur des alvéoles, elle génère un tirage d'air qui ferme les soupapes de sortie (6) et ouvre les soupapes d'entrée (5), moyennant quoi l'air est aspiré via les conduits d'aspiration (9). Le mouvement des colonnes d'eau oscillante dans la totalité des alvéoles génère alternativement une aspiration d'air dans certaines alvéoles et une compression dans les autres, créant un flux d'air continu passant à travers les groupes de turbo-générateur (7) qui produisent de l'électricité.
