Abstract

The invention relates to a domestic dishwasher (1) having a lower dish receiving portion (10), an upper dish receiving portion (11), a lifting device (14) designed to lift the lower dish receiving portion (10) from a starting position (AP) into an end position (EP), or to lower it from the end position (EP) into the starting position (AP), as well as a stop device (27) configured, during lifting of the lower dish receiving portion (10), to stop the upper dish receiving portion (11) in a state of being retracted into a washing container (2) of said domestic dishwasher (1).

The present invention relates to a domestic dishwasher.

A domestic dishwasher has a rinsing container and at least one dishwashing item to be moved into or out of the rinsing container. In particular, such a household dishwasher can have a plurality of washware receptacles arranged one above the other, such as, for example, a lower basket, an upper basket or a cutlery basket. Since the lower basket is located near a bottom of the washing container, loading or unloading of the lower basket requires the user to kneel down or stoop to the lower basket.

The document DE 20 2009 004 771 U1 describes a domestic dishwasher with an upper basket and a lower basket arranged below the upper basket. The household dishwasher comprises a lifting device for the lower basket. With the help of the lifting device, the lower basket can be moved from a lower position to an upper position and vice versa. The lifting device comprises swivel levers pivotably mounted on a washing container of the household dishwasher, which are coupled to the lower basket. Against this background, an object of the present invention is to provide an improved domestic dishwasher.

The household dishwasher 1 has a washing container 2. The washing container 2 is in particular cuboid. Preferably, the washing compartment 2 is made of a steel sheet. Alternatively, the rinse tank 2 may be at least partially made of a plastic material. The washing compartment 2 has on the front side a loading opening 3 which can be closed in a watertight manner by means of a door not shown in FIGS. 1 to 3. The rinsing container 2 comprises a cover 4, a base 5 arranged opposite the cover 4, on which a sump 6 can be provided, a rear wall 7 arranged opposite the loading opening 3 and two side walls 8, 9 arranged opposite one another.
