Abstract
The invention relates to a limb (1) used in archery, comprising a flat-shaped lower surface (2), a convex-shaped upper surface (3), a mounting space (6) allowing mounting thereof to the bow body, a limb adjustment screw (8), and a node section (9) where the bowstring is attached.
Description
A limb used in archery
The Related Art The invention relates to limbs used in archery and connected to the bow body. The Prior Art
The bow bodies used in archery have different models and their common characteristic is a material which can be adjusted to the right / left in a rectangular shape of the limb slots under and above the bow body and which can be adjusted forward / backward at the adjustment points inside the slot to adjust the hardness.
As can be seen in Figures 4 and 5, the prior art limbs are rectangularly shaped parts for fitting in the limb slots found on the bow body, having rectangular mounting parts at the tip thereof, comprising a channel screw thereon allowing fitting in the limb slot, inclined towards the middle part, narrowing down towards the upper part, and comprising a node at the tip point where the bowstring is tied.
In the prior art applications, the energy stored in the limbs is distributed to the limb surface in accordance with the rectangular form of the limbs. In these types of limb models, right/left adjustments are made with the help of adjustment screw, depending on the shape of the limbs, while keeping the limb surface fixed. This makes it harder to make bow adjustments according to the shooting technique of the user.
As a result, the above said drawbacks and the inadequacy of the prior art solutions about the bow limbs used in archery have necessitated an improvement in the related technical field.
Purpose of the Invention
The invention is formed with the inspiration from the prior art situations and aims to solve the above said problems.
The main purpose of the invention is to form an inclined surface on bow limbs so that energy would be stored longitudinally on the limbs, or in other words, from the lower tip parts of the limbs to the top end part thereof, and allow making adjustment towards the left and right sides as the part where the limbs enter the bow body are inclined. Another purpose of the invention is to shape the bow limbs in accordance with the above given main purpose so as to allow the bow limbs used in archery to be adjusted to provide more balanced shooting.
In order to achieve the above said purposes, the invention is a limb used in archery, comprising a node section at the upper part thereof where a bowstring is tied, a limb adjustment screw operating in connection with the adjustment screw found on the bow body and movable towards the right and left angularly, and a screw cap allowing the limb adjustment screw to be fixed thereon, and it is characterized in that; said limb comprises:
- an upper surface with a convex form, - a lower surface with a flat form,
- a mounting space formed between a mounting part 1 and a mounting part 2 positioned at the lower tip part of said limb such that the surfaces of the mounting part 1 and the mounting part 2 facing each other would be concave. The structural and characteristic features of the invention and all of its advantages shall be understood better with the figures and the detailed description given below in reference to the figures, and therefore, the assessment should be made by taking into account the said figures and detailed explanations.

Detailed Description of the Invention
In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of a limb (1 ) used in archery according to the present invention will only be disclosed for better understanding of the subject.
The limb (1 ) basically consists of a lower surface (2), an upper surface (3), a limb mounting part (6), a screw cap (7), a limb adjustment screw (8), and a node section (9).
As can be seen in Figure 1 , the lower surface (2) of the limb (1 ) has a flat form, while the upper surface (3) thereof has a convex form. In this way, mounting of the limb (1 ) to the bow body becomes easier.
A mounting part 1 (4), a mounting part 2 (5), and a mounting space (6) are found at the lower end part of said limb (1 ). The mounting space (6), as can be seen from Figure 3, is formed between the mounting part 1 (4) and the mounting part 2 (5) such that the surfaces of the mounting part 1 (4) and the mounting part 2 (5) facing each other would be concave. In this way, mounting of the limb (1 ) to the bow body and angular rotation of the limb (1 ) towards the left and right becomes easier.
The limb adjustment screw (8) operates in connection with the adjustment screw of the bow body and can be moved angularly towards the right and left, when the limb (1 ) is mounted to the bow body. In this way, by means of the limb adjustment screw (8), the limb (1 ) body is rotated angularly towards the right and left, in accordance with the technique of the user. The limb adjustment screw (8) corresponds to the tip parts of the bow body, when the limbs (1 ) are placed at the lower and upper parts of the bow body. The screw cap (7) allows the limb adjustment screw (8) to be fixed on the limbs (1 ).
Moreover, as can be seen from Figure 2, the lower surface (2) of the limb (1 ) is flat, while the upper surface (3) thereof has a convex form at the upper tip part of said limb (1 ) up to the node section (9) where the bowstring is tied.
Claims
CLAIMS A limb (1 ) used in archery, comprising a node section (9) at the upper part thereof where a bowstring is tied, a limb adjustment screw (8) operating in connection with the adjustment screw found on the bow body and movable towards the right and left angularly, and a screw cap (7) allowing the limb adjustment screw (8) to be fixed thereon, and it is characterized in that; said limb (1 ) comprises:
- an upper surface (3) with a convex form,
- a lower surface (2) with a flat form,
- a mounting space (6) formed between a mounting part 1 (4) and a mounting part 2 (5) positioned at the lower tip part of said limb (1 ) such that the surfaces of the mounting part 1 (4) and the mounting part 2 (5) facing each other would be concave.
