L'invention concerne un système de machine-outil portative comprenant au moins un mécanisme de percussion rotatif (16a; 16b; 16c) comportant au moins une boîte de vitesses à trains épicycloïdaux (50a; 50b; 50c) pourvue d'au moins une couronne (46a; 46b; 46c), au moins un couvercle de mécanisme de percussion (44a; 44b; 44c) et au moins un arbre intermédiaire (18a; 18b; 18c) monté au moins partiellement à l'intérieur du couvercle de mécanisme de percussion (44a; 44b; 44c). Selon l'invention, le couvercle de mécanisme de percussion (44a; 44b; 44c) forme une seule pièce avec la couronne (46a; 46b; 46c).
