Abstract
L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés de création d'image de tomodensitométrie synthétique permettant une radiothérapie par résonance magnétique (RM) uniquement de patients atteints d'un cancer. Les systèmes et les procédés selon l'invention consistent à appliquer une métrique d'erreur d'enregistrement généralisée qui détermine la qualité de l'enregistrement local entre des paires d'images RM. En outre, ces procédés et systèmes comprennent également des techniques de traitement d'image qui améliorent la similarité entre des images de tomodensitométrie et des images RM avant un enregistrement d'images de tomodensitométrie-résonance magnétique, ainsi que la normalisation des histogrammes d'intensité RM avant un enregistrement RM-RM. L'application des techniques selon l'invention permet d'obtenir une attribution plus précise de l'unité Hounsfield à chaque point dans la tomodensitométrie synthétique par rapport à d'autres méthodes basées sur atlas, ce qui fournit un dosage plus précis dans une la planification et simulation de radiothérapie par RM uniquement.
