Abstract

The invention relates to a portable individual air purification system comprising an item of clothing for covering a user's mouth and nose, which item of clothing is designed to hold a portable individual air purification device for purifying ambient air and for emitting purified air, said item of clothing comprising a clothing inner side facing the user, and a clothing outer side facing away from the user. To improve this such that it is made easy to handle for a user, the item of clothing is designed to carry an individual air purification device for purifying ambient air and emitting purified air, the item of clothing comprises a clothing inner side which faces the user and a clothing outer side which faces away from the user, and the item of clothing comprises a device receiving portion for receiving said air purification device.
