FIELD OF THE INVENTION

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[02] The civil identification system emerged as a state need to know the information of each individual in its population, that is, to maintain a database with a larger number of possible information on the characteristics of citizens, ensuring absolute security in the relations they maintain with each other and with the state itself.

 [03] One of the major problems facing the control agencies is the fight against the falsification of the identity card, which involves a set of criminal situations often carried out by scammers.

 [04] The identification document known as the General Registry (RG) consists of a document issued to citizens born and registered in Brazil and to foreign-born children of Brazilians. It serves to confirm the identity of the person and to request other documents. Registration is valid throughout the national territory and replaces the passport when traveling to Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela.

 [05] It turns out that, at present, the form of verification of authenticity and validity of the identification document is done very poorly, and depend almost exclusively on sensory and primitive methods.

 [06] Furthermore, due to the large differences in formats adopted by the various states, the verification and validation of the RG is a very complex operation. The commonly used methods are based on the checking of the characteristics of documents issued in each state and in each period, since it is not a unified document in Brazil.

[07] One of the useful elements for validation is the name and signature of the issuing agency director responsible at the time the document was issued. Other elements to check are the document numbering (if, depending on the issue state, there is or less the check digit and if it is correct), the perforation in the photo (when applicable), the apparent age compatibility in the photo, the data printed on the mirror of the formatting of information and, finally, the compatibility of the source documents.

 [08] The most commonly used security items in identification documents are:

[09] 1. WATER MARK OR FILIGRANE: is an image formed by differences in the thickness of a sheet of paper by applying a stamp on the still damp sheet;

 [11] 3. HIGH-RELIEF PRINTING (SWEET): Usually present on the Republic's coat of arms and in some texts as "VALID IN ALL NATIONAL TERRITORY";

 [12] 4. SPECIAL BACKGROUNDS: They are formed by straight and winding lines, extremely thin, which give color to the document;

 [13] 5. Holographic Range: If you turn the identity on the light, any holograms, highlights or dashes in the background should appear and disappear from view. They should not be bright all the time;

 [14] 6. LATER IMAGE: This is known as a ghost image, which is a hidden image under the stripe or graticule, unnoticeable when viewed directly, but when the document is tilted, the image appears highlighted.

 [15] 7. LUMINESCENT FIBERS: are printed with colorless ink, reactive to ultraviolet rays with the appearance of yellowish margins.

 [16] 8. MICROCHANCELA: consists of the signature of the issuer of the document, which is normally the Secretary of Public Security of the issuing State.

[17] 9. NUMBERING: Varies from state to state according to their authenticity math; [18] These are the techniques used to distinguish a true document from a false one. There are also some unofficial websites that promise to tell if the numbering of this document is true or not.

 [23] Moreover, these printed techniques are only palliative, as, as mentioned earlier, documents can easily be issued in several different states, with the same photo and different names, being a facilitator of scams.

[24] It is noteworthy that good analysis will also depend on the physical condition of the document. If the RG, for example, which is a document that is valid for approximately 10 (ten) years, is worn, scratched or torn, it will not offer security for decision on authenticity. [25] Another factor that makes it more difficult for users to perceive, especially the enforcement agent, and misleads them in an attempt to identify the authenticity of the above mentioned documents is when they are presented repeatedly and within a short period of time, which makes it an exhausting activity, reducing the perception capacity and quality of the analysis.

 [26] Regarding queries made by unofficial websites, these are inaccurate and unreliable as they are made by normal users without any official criteria or support.

 [27] Therefore, the inspector who needs proof of that identification cannot rely on any technological support and is always prone to be victimized, harming not only himself, but also institutions and bona fide third parties.

 [28] It should be noted that all society practices acts of civil life based on confirmation of identification, especially banks, notaries etc.

 [29] Not to mention that there are no accessibility features for the visually impaired, whether ordinary citizen or Supervisory Agent, to verify the authenticity of the ID, which will depend on third parties for reporting on authenticity, validity etc.

APPLICATION OF THE INVENTION

[30] Given the above, in order to meet the wishes of society, which needs security to realize the acts of civil life, we present as the solution of the retro problems mentioned, the use of a system, which uses the association advanced technologies, especially integrated, aims to enable the perfect identification and convapidation of documents and their holders, since it provides access to a fertile database that will be used for these queries, and domain and restricted access to the holding body.

 [31] With the application of this system, it will be possible to effectively verify the identification document General Register (RG), in order to verify its authenticity, validity and possible restrictions, and immediately store other information, bringing more safety and integrity for all involved in the process.

 [32] The present system will facilitate the consultation of that Supervisory Agent, or even (usually lay) user, who will review various documentation in a short period of time, without relying solely on the physical structure of the paper to conclude whether that document is fake or not.

 [33] This system will even solve the connection problem as fixed or portable readers on the market make use of several different technologies, such as UTP, USB, internet to radio, (3G / 4G), GPRS, GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS location, not being the user or, mainly, the Inspector Agent restricted to the access of a desktop computer, nor will be required to travel to perform the consultation.

 [34] With the same applicability, this system could be the solution for ordinary users and any visually impaired who will be able to consult, regardless of their location, using the portable reader. equipped with the solution and application, to be described below, or even smartphone, tablets, among others that are equipped with technology, as it will inform, through audiovisual signal, about that consultation.

[35] In addition to the retro features mentioned, the system provides traceability in the document reference. When the document is consulted, the register will be available, and the police authorities may be aware of the access history, where it was accessed and the user's identity, which will be of great value, for example in cases of people being kidnapped and are under the control of bandits, and an incident may even be recorded in that ID to, when consulted, indicate the incident and alert the police authority to act, as usually the citizen is forced by the miscreant to pretend that nothing is wrong. going on.

 [36] The implementation of this technology offers transparency, security and agility in the operations and processing of the processes of the entities involved, thus generating benefits and gains, since today saving time means the opportunity to undertake it in other activities with different remuneration.

 [37] On the other hand, it should be noted that there will not be the huge losses and inconveniences bitter today by the population and the controlling agencies with the various existing delinquent actions, or even negligence of the supervisory agent, we point out that, having consulted the RG , you will be unable to refrain from taking appropriate action, as the system itself will have automatically alerted you to the irregularity registered (if the document is false, lost by the holder and is being misused or even if the citizen is being sought by justice, for example).

 [38] It is also worth mentioning the possibility of integration with the police, judicial, public security systems, and even with commercial establishments or private institutions, in order to share the information collected, thus preventing further damage to society. and identify and locate criminal agents.

[39] The system proposed here presents a system for modernization of the official identification document. This system will allow data consultation, authenticity and insertion of information in this document. This process will be done by attaching an electronic tag (TAG) to the Identity Card, better known as the General Registry - RG. This tag will be equipped with a chip and antennas which, when subjected to radio frequency waves produced by readers or collectors of the same frequency, at a maximum distance of 10 centimeters, will bring to the screen all data recorded on that label, to which it is approved and with its permission level adopted. The result can be printed, as well as any restrictions and warnings, or even shared by the digital media.

 [40] This system will use the most diverse means of communication to access the information of the consulted documents, as the fixed or portable readers, as well as smartphones and tablets, available in the market make use of several different technologies, such as , logical network UTP, USB, internet to radio, (3G / 4G), GPRS, GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and, GPS location, not being the user or, mainly, not restricted access only through a desktop computer , nor will you be required to go to the consultation.

[41] With the same applicability, this system will be the solution for ordinary users and any visually impaired users who can consult regardless of their location using the portable player equipped with the solution and application, to be described below, or even smartphone, tablets, among others that are equipped with the technology, as it will inform, through beeps, about that consultation.

[42] Another very relevant feature is that with the new system in place you can detect if that document is stolen or fake, or if it is being used by criminals to commit offenses as the system will already indicate if there are any restrictions on it, in addition to showing on the computer screen, smartphone or portable reader such restrictions in real time, which will prevent tampering and cloning at the time that restriction is registered, all databases will be automatically updated. with such information and from that moment on, any reading attempt shall immediately be alerted to the system administrator as well as to all interested agencies, even showing the geographical location of the act of reading, as well as the data of the device that performed it.

 [43] In addition, even if the restriction is not yet in the database, or if the system is offline at the time of reading, recording of this restriction will be possible, in addition to tracking the path taken through the sequence of readings made to it. document as well as the readers used. This is possible through the log of queries that will be recorded in the history and sent when the system connections to the network or internet are reestablished.

 [44] The use of the system may be shared with the entire population whether natural or legal, each with its own level and access control, and its release will be made after a registration made by local system administrators and validated after analysis by the central database administrator.

 [48] On the other hand, it should be noted that such shares, in addition to anticipating preventive measures and actions, will avoid huge losses and bitter discomforts today by the population and the controlling agencies with the various existing delinquent actions, including the collusion of public agents. therefore, once the document has been consulted and any abnormalities are found, it will be unable to refrain from applying the appropriate competent procedures, since the system itself will have automatically registered the irregularity, leaving only the option to justify in exceptional cases, for example, when you discover that a person is not the owner of the document, but is the proxy, since the person is bedridden (this is due to the possibility of integration of the systems, as mentioned above).

 [49] The system proposed here comes from a complex combination of electronic, microelectronic and nanoelectronic devices that use electromagnetic fields to communicate via RF signal between transmitters and receivers with antennas, which not only allow Recording as the reading of digital (binary) information a posteriori through software, applications that perform digital signal processing allowing a two-way communication system, which enable the implementation of the solutions described above.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[53] The fundamental concepts applied here in the development of embedded systems begin with the demystification of hardware, the diversity of components, interfaces and communications we use. Next comes the development of firmware and digital signal processing, supporting the design of digital filters and audio and image applications. The solution is quite practical for its purpose, with the demonstration we use below.

 [54] Before we start the project demonstration itself, it is important to have a basic idea about the principle of operation of a proximity data reading system, such as RFID and NFC, as is the case here: the same It is basically composed of a reader and a transponder (or tag).

 [55] This player consists of a radio frequency transceiver that operates at one of the standard frequencies for this type of application (125 kHz, 13.56 MHz, 862 to 932 MHz or 2.4 GHz).

 [58] In addition, the use of the system will also be possible by starting with the document holder's facial biometric recognition. Despite existing variations from person to person, the human face has a basic composition that does not change, and this can be read by applications that use this composition as a commonality.

 [59] When using a system that maps this pattern, it is possible to record only the face or all movements and use them in various functions. All applications have the same principle: detect a face in geometric and logarithmic shapes and then assemble it as in a puzzle.

 [60] Thus, the system starts with the managing body, which issues the document, namely the Public Security Bureau or the Identification Institute, which will record through the fixed reader (1) in the tags (3) registration and other pertinent information were implanted in the documents, besides capturing the photo of the holder to register his facial biometry (10) for later recognition.

[61] To be recognized by readers, the documents must be equipped with an electronic micro tag, called tag (3), with approximation read properties, usually RFID or NFC. As these tags, when approached, are powered by the readers themselves, dispensing with the use of batteries that would need to be recharged, the RFID / NFC is powered by the magnetic field emitted by the readers. readers.  [74] Following the same system, if there is any information or restriction to be recorded at police stations, checkpoints, highway battalions, Social Security, patrol or transit agents in that document and appropriate sharing with the central server, This can be done immediately if an internet connection (8) is available, or it can be recorded only in the document for later communication with the central server (7).

[75] Ordinary citizens will not be left out of this process as they can refer to the documents in question through applications made available to unofficial readers such as their smartphone (12) or tablet (13), as long as it has data approach reading technology or camera for face recognition available. In the case of consultation through unofficial readers, it will not be possible to record information, but only observations, which will be moderated by the competent body. [76] Such readers will be classified into at least three different models:

 [80] The readers described above will be responsible not only for consultation, but also for collecting information from all circulating documents, because even if the document does not yet have the electronic tag, the application will allow the insertion of the document data and after the activation of the icon, query data or even by capturing facial biometrics, these will proceed to an analysis in the database of the managing body and will provide the result instantly being arranged on the monitor of the device thus providing support for decision making of the people involved.

 [81] In this way, readers assume a position of interconnection between the controlling agencies, inspection agents, the population and other users. This technology not only ensures the authenticity of the documents of this follow-up, it optimizes and speeds up the processes, avoiding the loss of time in bureaucratic procedures, which increase the cost of certain operations.

 [82] It is noteworthy that it will be recorded in the history of that document all consultations made, either through official, portable or fixed readers, or through unofficial readers (ordinary citizens), which will allow the easy location of people who are being sought. , as I mentioned earlier.

[83] Similar to what happens when consulting a CPF or CNPJ, which depends on a response from a large provider, and that provides data referring to the documents consulted, we will also have this control, but with greater amplitude, because every label produced anywhere in the world, has its own identity and specific characteristics.
