Abstract

Selon des modes de réalisation, la présente invention concerne un procédé de détection de fissuration de matériau pendant l'installation d'un rivet auto-perforant (SPR) à l'aide d'un pistolet SPR. Le procédé comprend : la mesure d'une force de réaction et d'un déplacement au niveau du pistolet SPR ; la comparaison d'une courbe de force contre déplacement obtenue lors de l'installation, à une courbe de référence lors d'une bonne installation ; et la génération d'une alerte d'installation de rivet si un écart de plus d'une quantité prédéfinie de la courbe de force contre déplacement sous la courbe de référence se produit. L'invention concerne également un dispositif de commande destiné à détecter une fissuration de matériau à l'aide du procédé.
