Abstract

L'invention concerne un système et un dispositif autonome de détection et de signalisation routière, conçus pour former une barrière visuelle d'alerte à utiliser spécialement dans le domaine de la sécurité routière. Le système comprend plusieurs dispositifs autonomes (2) disposés sur une voie (3), chaque dispositif autonome (2) comprenant une unité de commande (11) ; une unité de détection (10) avec un capteur de proximité (5) pour détecter des piétons (8) dans une zone de détection (4) ; une unité de signalisation lumineuse (6) orientée vers les véhicules (7) qui approchent sur la voie (3) ; un module de communications sans fil (12) ; et une unité d'alimentation et de stockage d'énergie. L'unité de commande (11) est conçue pour, lors de la détection d'un piéton (8) effectuée par ledit dispositif autonome (2), activer l'unité de signalisation lumineuse (6) et communiquer par transmission sans fil ladite détection au reste des dispositifs autonomes (2) ; et lors de la détection d'un piéton (8) effectuée par un autre dispositif autonome (2), activer l'unité de signalisation lumineuse (6).
