- Object of the present invention is therefore to propose a connecting element that is simple and inexpensive to produce and can be easily transported and stored, and further ensures a secure fit between the connecting element and pipes of different stiffness and diameter deviations.
- a connecting element for tubular profiles to the end-side connection with each other which consists of a sheet material. It is made of one or more interconnected blanks. Preference is given as sheet materials paper, cardboard or cardboard and / or as tubular profiles reused cardboard tubes, as they are known from toilet paper or kitchen rolls provided. Such materials are readily available, inexpensive and environmentally friendly, most importantly, the various roll cores are waste which can be recycled by the invention.
- An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides a connecting element, which is designed as an entangled surface object.
- a connecting element which is designed as an entangled surface object.
- the flat pieces in turn have receiving slots for receiving tubular profiles, in which the wall of the tubular profile is in particular positively and / or frictionally receivable.
- An undersize in the width of the receiving slots of the sheets with respect to the wall thickness of the tubular profiles ensures a sufficiently large pressure and friction between the connecting element and the tubular profile.
- the receiving slots may have at the outer ends a small V-shaped widening, which is the fitting of the tubular profiles, for. As the cardboard rolls, easier.
- the receiving slots can provide through modifications for an improved hold of the inserted therein objects (eg tabs, profiles, sheets). These include versions with corrugated or toothed edges of the slots, but also designs that are intended for anchoring of locking lugs on the tabs.
- the entangled surface object has the advantage that each tubular profile is held at four points of its wall inside and outside, which increases the stability of the connector, in particular against withdrawal forces.
- a particularly simple production and assembly are possible, v. a. since no additional elements are needed.
- a third flat piece has proved to be advantageous, which also belongs to the first flat piece by insertion, is added after the first has been joined to the second flat piece.
- the third sheet is preferably made in two parts, so that it can be easily used. It is slotted for this purpose by short slits and is inserted from two opposite sides on the first, prepared for this purpose flat piece in there corresponding short slots.
- Safety noses are provided according to a particularly advantageous embodiment in the first and / or second part of the third sheet. These can be passed through recesses in the second flat piece to build up the entangled surface object. They can be inserted into securing notches corresponding to the securing noses in the respective other part of the third flat piece.
- the additional securing lugs are located on the straight sides of the two parts of the third flat piece, which engage in the additional recesses in the second flat piece and thereby advantageously reach into the opposite part, where the additional securing notches are, with a corresponding design. As a result, an increased positional stability of the two parts of the third sheet is achieved.
- a further variant of the invention has the difference that the flat pieces are not only plugged together, but are glued together (eg already during production).
- the shape of the flat pieces for receiving adhesive is advantageously changed slightly in a preferred embodiment, also some parts can be provided in two parts. The bonding is preferably carried out so that the product is still flat collapsible. When building then only the corresponding areas are unfolded and erected the connecting element thereby. Depending on the technical requirements, additional adhesive levels on other parts must be added for bonding.
- the bonding is used, as an alternative to bonding complete flat pieces and connecting elements based on flat pieces can be made so that no long slots are used. Instead, the sheets are completely in the direction of the long slots and beyond this completely broken, z. B. cut apart, so that form separation edges. At these separation edges or cut edges, the sheets are joined together, preferably glued together.
- the object according to the invention is likewise achieved by a blank made of a flat material, cut out, pre-punched and / or with pre-drawn cutting and / or folding lines for forming at least a part of a three-dimensional object, wherein the three-dimensional object is a connecting element, designed as an entangled surface object, is.
- a pre-drawn or pre-cut blank must be entered by the user into the intended contour, eg. B. by cutting or breaking.
- the sale as a blank is particularly advantageous because shipping is easy and the manufacturing cost is low.
- the object of the invention is also achieved by a multi-dimensional profile arrangement comprising tubular profiles and connecting elements according to the preceding description, wherein the tubular profiles are joined together by means of at least one connecting element in a manner as described above.
- a panel element can be used in the profile arrangement. Panels of any basic shape can be used to close the open areas remaining as the frame members when constructing constructions of cardboard tubes and fasteners between the cardboard tubes.
- a preferred embodiment provides at least one panel element which has at least one corner via a single insertion tab, which is insertable into a prepared or existing slot of the connecting element. It is envisaged to introduce separate panel slots for the attachment of the panels in the connecting element. In the slots, the Gamingklasche stuck by a force or friction fit and holds the panel in its intended position. Also for these slots, the possibilities described above for improving the frictional connection are applicable.
- a panel typically has four corners and is square or rectangular.
- the invention also includes other forms, for. B. triangles.
- the invention also relates to the use of a connecting element or a multi-dimensional arrangement, as described above, as a toy, construction element, furniture, teaching aids, building material or works of art. application
- the invention promotes the creativity of children, since this construction system consists of the simplest materials, can be used for many different constructions and also z. B. by painting, any shortening of the rollers, the fasteners and the panels with a pair of scissors or by adding other materials can be developed individually.
- the system is easy to understand and easy to use for children. It quickly creates large structures, making your own work after a short time visible and usable.
- the tubular profiles can be connected by means of the connecting elements to any figures.
- the system can be used as a building system for children, for example, to build playhouses, shops, knight castles, Kaspertheater, rockets, spaceships or even fantasy.
- the connecting elements with the tubular profiles form a structure that can also be clad with the panels to be assembled into a suitable piece of furniture.
- z. B. for the construction of exhibition stands, counters, partitions, furniture and models for illustrating scientific relationships into consideration.
- the preferred embodiment of the invention is a system for connecting cardboard rolls.
- the system in this embodiment consists of cardboard rolls (eg cores of kitchen rolls, toilet paper rolls and plotter paper rolls to carpet rolls for building large structures), the connecting elements (preferably also made of cardboard) and, if provided, the panels (preferably also of cardboard ). It is a plug-in system in which the cardboard rolls are plugged into the fasteners and thus any constructions arise.
- the panels can also be infected to z. B. to close walls.
- the invention is efficient in their manufacture, storage and shipping, since the elements, in particular the blanks for the fasteners and the receiving body, are technically not very complicated to manufacture and therefore with conventional machines, as z. B. from the packaging industry, can be produced in large quantities.
- the blanks or flattened fasteners are flat and small. They can therefore be stored and shipped cost-saving.
- the multi-dimensional profile arrangement, as the invention provides, has a high stability and safety.
- the constructions to be built with the system are largely stable in themselves.
- the individual elements can also be glued in addition with commercial adhesive to increase the stability even further.
- the panels further increase the stability of the built structure.
- the system especially in the preferred embodiment, is lightweight, since all elements are made of cardboard. This does not create any Danger of injury if a part falls down or something falls over during construction.
- Another advantage of the solution according to the invention is that with a single connecting element, designed and provided for a given nominal diameter of the tubular profile, also elastically deformable tubular profiles can be used with upwardly deviating diameter from the nominal diameter.
- a tubular profile with oversize in diameter with its outer circumferential surface also supported in the receiving slots as is the case with a tubular profile with undersize with its inner circumferential surface.
- the tubular profile itself is slightly elastically deformed, wherein the deformation associated with the stronger force on the receiving slot leads to increased friction between the lateral surface and receiving slot and thus at the same time further improves the retention of the tubular profile in the receiving slots.
- a tubular profile which is held only in the interior, as is the case in the prior art, although at undersize compared to the nominal diameter can still be kept, but not in excess.
