- the V2X service is a communication service that transmits through 3GPP with the participation of the transmitting or receiving UE using the V2V application. Based on the other party participating in the communication, the V2X service can be further divided into a V2V service, a V2I service, a V2P service, and a V2N service.
- the V2P service refers to a service that uses V2P application communication between UEs.
- the V2I service refers to a service in which a UE and a Road Side Unit (RSU) use a V2I application to interact.
- RSU Road Side Unit
- the RSU is an entity that supports V2I services, and can send V2I services to UEs that use V2I applications, or can receive V2I services from UEs that use V2I services.
- the RSU can be implemented by a base station (eNB) or a stationary UE. If the RSU is implemented by a base station, it is called an eNB type RSU. If the RSU is implemented by the UE, it is called a UE type RSU.
- FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a V2V service scenario according to the related art of the present invention, as shown in FIG.
- This scenario supports V2V communication based solely on the PC5 interface.
- the UE sends a V2X message to multiple UEs in the local area through the PC5 interface.
- scenario 2 the scenario supports V2V communication based only on the Uu port.
- the UE uplinks the V2X message to the E-UTRAN, and the E-UTRAN broadcasts the V2X message to the multiple UEs in the local area.
- the scenario supports V2V communication using the Uu and PC5 interfaces.
- the UE sends a V2X message to the other UEs through the PC5 interface, where 3a: the UE type RSU transmits the V2X message to the E-UTRAN after receiving the V2X message from the PC5 interface, and the E-UTRAN receives the V2X from the UE type RSU.
- the message is downlink broadcasted to multiple UEs in the local area.
- 3b The UE uplinks the V2X message to the E-UTRAN.
- the E-UTRAN After receiving the V2X message from the Uu port, the E-UTRAN transmits the V2X message to one or more UE type RSUs, and the UE type RSU receives the V2X from the E-UTRAN.
- the message is sent to multiple UEs in the local area through the PC5 interface.
