Once the treads are buffed, the track 102 or 102b may be removed from the first wheel 150 and the second wheel. New treads may then be affixed (e.g., glued, fused, bonded, etc.) to the outer surface 103 of the track 102 or 102b so that the track 102 or 102b may be reused.

Such joining may be achieved with the two members or the two members and any additional intermediate members being integrally formed as a single unitary body with one another or with the two members or the two members and any additional intermediate members being attached to one another.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil destiné à une application de polissage d'une chape de chenille comprenant une première roue rotative autour d'un premier axe de rotation. Des premiers rebords de jante de roue sont positionnés sur des extrémités opposées de la première roue. Une pluralité de patins de chenille d'une chenille peut être positionnée sur une première surface de jante de roue entre des premiers rebords de jante de roue opposés. La première roue présente un premier diamètre de roue. L'appareil comprend également une seconde roue à l'écart de la première roue et rotative autour d'un second axe de rotation. Une seconde partie de la pluralité de patins de chenille peut être positionnée autour de la seconde roue. La seconde roue présente un second diamètre de roue inférieur au premier diamètre de roue. Une largeur entre des premiers rebords de jante de roue est réglable. De plus, le seconde roue est mobile par rapport à la première roue de façon à régler une distance entre la première roue et la seconde roue.
