Definitions
- the present invention relates to the technical field of chemistry, since it presents a concentrated nutraceutical of electrolytes for ionic balance in biological systems, such as humans, animals, plants and microorganisms.
- He Acid-base balance in biological systems is so important that it can mean the difference between health and disease. These balances, to some extent, dominate life on earth. In industrial processes certain variables are controlled in order to favor the displacement of balances in the desired direction and obtain a greater quantity of products.
- shrimp farming presents a series of challenges for its development, provoking the search for new cultivation techniques and venturing into increasingly intensive developments.
- One of the great problems and little studied is, about the great ionic imbalance that is being generated by different factors in the cultivation systems, being able to be caused by the agricultural areas which every day use more fertilizers that are accumulating in the funds of the culture ponds, and when filled again they react producing imbalances of ions in the middle (González Ledesma, 2015) as well as the food added in the shrimp crops (Study of Minerals, 2011), the ions that make up 95% of the salinity of the waters destined for cultivation are: Chlorine (C1-), Sulfur (S-), magnesium (Mg ++), Sodium (Na +), Calcium (Ca ++) and Potassium (K +), these salts are ionized and their proportion in which they participate in the different strata of the water column are governed by the kinetics of their molecules (Villanueva, 2015).
- the solid formulation (eg, powder or granules) contains a calcium salt such as calcium chloride and a magnesium salt such as magnesium chloride and; (B) a solid formulation containing a carbonate such as sodium carbonate and a sulfate such as sodium sulfate, both the solid formulations being A and B separately or packaged received.
- a calcium salt such as calcium chloride and a magnesium salt such as magnesium chloride
- B a solid formulation containing a carbonate such as sodium carbonate and a sulfate such as sodium sulfate
- the additive comprises the following components in weight percentage: 5-10 percent of vitamin A, 5-40 percent of phosphate ester of vitamin C, 3-8 percent of vitamin E, 0.8 to 1 per percent of vitamin D, 5-10 percent inositol, 20-25 percent calcium lactate, 10.5 percent potassium chloride, 10.5 percent sodium humate, 2.5 percent Bacillus licheniformis, 10.5 percent of wild jujube powder, 10-15 percent of magnesium sulfate and 10 to 20 percent of shell powder.
- the shrimp additive is used with food, it has the advantages of a balanced and sufficient diet, rich mineral components, good taste, high digestibility and low price, it is easy to store, it can be used to improve disease resistance and shrimp activity, and does not influence water quality.
- the invention refers to water for artificial breeding that will be used for seawater organisms and freshwater organisms , which contains sodium, calcium and potassium by adding them to breeding water in such a way that it has a specific gravity of 1.004 or more and no more than that of natural seawater, and that the ratio of abundance of potassium to calcium is 0 , 93 that in natural seawater and the ratio of abundance of sodium to calcium and potassium is 55 to that in natural seawater; and an aquaculture system using this water for artificial breeding, which includes a breeding tank placed in a space at an ambient temperature between 15 o C and 30 o C on the surface of the land, the water for artificial breeding filled in the breeding tank, and a filtering device to filter the water for artificial breeding filled in the breeding tank.
- solutions, food additives and / or compositions for making artificial seawater which include calcium, magnesium, potassium and sulfur, however, they do not show an improvement in the metabolic functioning of organisms, nor that it makes the movement of muscles more efficient, aiding digestion, normalizing peristaltic movements, facilitating the absorption of nutrients and the evacuation of waste, thereby preventing the accumulation of gases and the proliferation of pathogenic microorganisms in the tract digestive.

- the present invention provides a concentrated nutraceutical of electrolytes for ionic balance in biological systems, comprising:
- Chlorine (from the Greek ⁇ , which means "pale green"), its symbol is M C1 "; it was discovered in its diatomic form in 1774 by the Swede Cari Wilhelm Scheele, although he believed it was a compound containing oxygen. 1810 the English chemist Humphry Davy demonstrates that it is a physical element and gives it the name of chlorine due to its color. In normal conditions and in a pure state dichloro form: a yellow-green toxic gas formed by diatomic molecules (C12) 2.5 times heavier than air, with an unpleasant and toxic odor, it is an abundant element in nature and is an essential chemical element for many life forms.
- Chlorine works to maintain extracellular osmotic pressure and maintain and the acidic balance of the body, it is the main anion of gastric juice where it forms hydrochloric acid.
- SO4 participates in the basic acid balance as a constituent of intracellular fluids and to a lesser extent extracellular fluids, as a component of sulfur amino acids it is necessary for protein synthesis, as a biotin component it is important in lipid metabolism , and as a component of thiamine it is important in carbohydrate metabolism, as a component of coenzyme A, it participates in energy metabolism, as an element of mucopolysaccharides it participates in the metabolism of collagen and connective tissue, and as a component of heparin is necessary for blood clotting, sulfur is also part of antioxidants such as glutathione and ergotionein (an important antioxidant found in erythrocytes and other cells subject to frequent stress), sulfur is found in all cells as well as in hormones that contain sulfur amino acids. Sulfur also has a very important function in the formation of organic metabolites
- the German Hennig Brand discovered it in 1669 by heating a sample of evaporated urine, its symbol "P". It exists in nature in the form of phosphates, in approximately 6 aleotropic forms, 2 of them are: white phosphorus that is soft, crystalline, waxy and toxic (it is very poisonous: 50 mg is a lethal dose for humans), exposed to air ignites at 34 ° C, so it is stored in water; and red phosphorus less active than white, is a non-poisonous reddish powder, this is elementary in living tissues and essential for agricultural production.
- Phosphorus is one of the components of bone (some of its functions are: formation, resistance, flexibility, storage and support to the organism), it is part of the nervous roof, it is essential for its proper functioning and maintenance of Nervous, intellectual and sexual energy.
- the P is important in the use of energy from food, participates in the metabolism of carbohydrates, contributes to the absorption of glucose in the intestine and its reabsorption in the kidneys, is essential in the process of oxidation of glucose and energy production (phosphocreatine, ATP, etc.)
- nucleus cell proteins such as DNA and RNA
- DNA and RNA as a component in cell walls is present in virtually all cells of the body, improves sexual appetite, fertility, birth weight, product viability, gain daily, food conversion and body development in general.
- hypophosphatemia is manifested primarily by symptoms and signs such as: anorexia, lameness, delayed growth, generalized muscle weakness, thinning, irregular or suppressed estrus, decreased fertility, spontaneous fractures, decreased milk production, "Pica” or depraved appetite (eat or chew stones, wire, bones, wood, etc.), rigidity, young with rickets.
- Mg (from Latin Magnesium), is a silver-white mineral element. It is found abundantly in nature always in combination with other elements, and in certain minerals such as Dolomite, Magnesite and Carnalite.
- hypomagnesemia vasodilation, hyperexitability, the animal falls sideways and pedals, convulsions, renal fibrosis, calcification in soft tissues such as the kidney, and death in some cases.
- a deficiency of Mg causes hypocalcemia.
- alcoholism can cause hypomagnesemia, and low levels of Mg in the diet can cause arteriosclerosis.
- Sodium is present in large quantities in the ocean in ionic form, it is an essential element for life.
- FUNCTIONS IN THE ORGANISM Sodium is closely related to potassium because together they operate the Na: K pump where Mg also intervenes to maintain osmotic pressure. It intervenes in the maintenance of the basic acid balance of the body and in the transmission of nerve impulses by activating the potential energy differential on both sides of the cell membrane.
- Ca His "Ca” symbol. It is a soft grayish metal, it is the fifth most abundant in mass in the earth's crust. It is also an abundant ion dissolved in seawater. It is found in the internal environment of organisms as calcium ion (Ca2 +) or as part of other molecules; in some living beings it is precipitated in the form of internal or external skeleton.
- Calcium is the main structural component of the skeleton where it serves as a reserve and others as; resistance, flexibility, storage and support to the organism), controls the excitability of nerves and muscles (concentrations of Ca ++ below normal produces greater excitability and amounts above normal levels cause hypoexcitability).
- Calcium ions act as a cofactor in many enzymatic reactions, intervene in glycogen metabolism, and together with potassium and sodium regulate muscle contraction.
- Calcium is necessary for normal blood clotting, and has a special importance in the reticulosarcoplasmic activity in the cardiac skeletal muscle (since it is the Ca ++ that produce the coupling between excitability and contraction) in the nervous system. It also has participation in the synthesis of muscle proteins.
- the parathyroid gland becomes overactive when trying to maintain normal blood serum calcium levels, this is known as secondary nutritional hyperparathyroidism that has a generalized effect on the entire skeleton, in horses the disease known as "big head” is observed, in pigs the crooked snout similar to atrophic rhinitis, in the bone disease apes.
- Bone ash reduction occurs in all forms of dietary calcium deficiency or Ca: P imbalance, all bones are affected although the magnitude of the change may vary.
- osteoporosis is characterized by decreased bone mass with the resulting tendency to fracture.
- the lack of estrogen production in menopausal women is undoubtedly the partial cause of the greater proportion of osteoporosis in women than in men, although the level of calcium in the diet also has an important part.
- the nutritional factors that have been linked to the cause of osteoporosis are the levels of calcium intake in the diet, P, vitamin "D”, Vitamin “K”, Cu, F, B, excessive protein intake and Na in the diet, and interactions between nutrients.
- a severe Ca deficiency can cause hypocalcaemia resulting in tetany and seizures and may be transient or may result in sudden death due to cardiac arrest, presumably due to the Ca ++ function as a coupling between excitation and contraction of the sarcoplasmic reticulum of the cardiac muscle.
- K from the Latin Kalium, "alkali”
- alkali alkali
- the metal is silvery white, chemically reactive and soft (can be cut with a knife). It occurs in three natural isotopic forms, of mass numbers 39, 40 and 41.
- Potassium 40 is radioactive and has a half-life of 1,280 million years. The most abundant isotope is Potassium 39.
- K + is the main cation of intracellular fluid, participates in acid-base balance, osmotic pressure, and maintains the water balance in the body.
- N As a constituent of muscle proteins, in the loss of muscle tissue both are lost, the replacement must include, in addition to the amino acids, K to fix the N.
- SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF DEFICIENCY Decreased consumption of water and food, "itches", gradual dehydration, inefficient food conversion, growth retardation, muscle weakness, emaciated, slight bone decrease, incoordination, nervous disorders, stiffness, decreased muscle and nerve excitability, abnormal electrocardiogram, kidney damage, diarrhea, thinning and death. Placental retention is frequent during delivery due to dehydration of the membranes.
- Hypokalemia may rather be a consequence of "losses" of K, caused by: Pyloric stenosis, syndrome of intestinal malabsorption, malnutrition, tissue destruction, gastric aspiration, excessive sweating, diuretics, prolonged diarrhea and / or vomiting, steroids, strong laxatives, dehydration, diabetic acidosis, high caffeine consumption, corticosteroids, excess adrenal hormones or adenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), licorice, cushing, family paroxysmal paralysis, in general patients weakened by any cause are prone to deficit.
