Abstract

Un wagon de type tombereau à huit essieux comprend une benne, deux paires de bogies à quatre essieux dont chacun est constitué de deux pairs de bogies à deux essieux, et quatre vérins pneumatiques de déchargement. Deux vérins pneumatiques sont montés entre les bogies à quatre essieux. Les troisième et quatrième vérins pneumatiques sont montés entre les bogies à deux essieux et présentent une moindre longueur de course de la tige en comparaison à la longueur de course de la tige de vérins montés entre les bogies à quatre essieux. On parvient ainsi à améliorer la prise de virages dans des segments de voie en courbe et à réduire le couple de renversement.
