Abstract

The present invention relates to a twist dispensing closure means (10) for a container (C) including a main cap member (11) having a storage compartment (13) and a main skirt portion (14) depending from the storage compartment and engageable to the neck portion (P) of a container and a twistable upper cap member (12) engageable to the main cap member (11) and enclosing the storage compartment (13). A frangible seal (16) provided on the opening of the neck portion of said container and in direct communication with the open bottom of said storage compartment. A cutting means (17) is also provided on the inner portion of the engaged main cap member (11) and twistable upper cap member (12) and engageably secured therewith to rotate simultaneous with the axial motion of the upper cap member when a twisting force is applied thereon to cut open the frangible seal and dispense the contents (N) from the storage compartment (13) to the liquid contents in the container.
