Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé permettant d'encourager l'activité physique parmi des personnes sédentaires, généralement des joueurs qui mènent des vies relativement sédentaires. Le système comprend généralement un dispositif de mémoire stockant des données ; et un processeur comprenant un module récepteur et un module générateur de données de jeu. Le module récepteur est conçu pour recevoir des données d'activité capturées par un dispositif de suivi d'activité associé à un joueur, les données d'activité indiquant une activité physique dans le monde réel du joueur à l'extérieur d'une session de jeu qui n'est habituellement pas obligatoirement liée à un niveau de condition physique. Le module générateur de données de jeu est ensuite conçu pour utiliser des données d'activité reçues pour générer des données de jeu, les données de jeu générées étant utilisées par un dispositif informatique pour contribuer au progrès dans le jeu et/ou aux capacités dans le jeu dans un jeu fourni au joueur par le dispositif informatique. De cette manière, une activité physique dans le monde réel du joueur est encouragée.
