Abstract

The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing a rubber composition based on at least one natural rubber and on one reinforcing filler, which process comprises the following steps (a) and (b): • (a) the addition, to a fresh natural rubber field latex, of a substance selected from the group consisting of proteases, surfactants and mixtures thereof, in order to produce a treated latex, • (b) the removal of water from the natural rubber. The process in accordance with the invention makes it possible to prepare a rubber composition based at least on natural rubber and on a reinforcing filler that has a reduced hysteresis without degradation of its limiting properties.
