Abstract

Bei der Bestrahlung eines Körpers zum Zwecke der Trocknung entsteht zwischen dem Wärmestrahler und dem zu trocknenden Körper eine Konvektionsströmung. Dieser Luftstrom trägt einerseits die aus dem Körper ausgetragene Feuchtigkeit fort, andererseits kann er bei zu großer Nähe aber auch sowohl den Körper als auch den Wärmestrahler abkühlen. Die Erfindung sieht daher eine randständige Abdichtung des Zwischenraums zwischen Körper und Wärmestrahler vor, bei der Randzonen eines streifenförmigen Dichtmittels den Luftstrom verhindern und eine luftdurchlässige Mittelzone den Luftstrom erlaubt. Hierdurch wird die Luft möglichst genau zwischen zu trocknendem Körper und Wärmestrahler abgeleitet und erzeugt einen möglichst geringen Effekt auf diese.
