- a detail can be a name, SSN (Social Security Number), address, face, signature or any type of identifying data.
- Some details originate from the user (e.g. filling in their name) or from services they granted the system access to (such as Gmail, Social Networks etc).
- Fig. 4 is a schematic representation of the user profiling data flow.
- the user profile 310 receives some of the details from the user via the user application 140 (e.g. filling in his/her name) or from cloud services they have granted the system permission to access (e.g. Gmail, social networks etc).
- the system continuously goes through each new and existing document 120 and reprocesses it to keep a constantly updated user profile 310.
- the system also uses feedback loops to verify, correct and score the user details. Human verification (either by the system's agents or by the actual users through dedicstaed interfaces), cross-matching sources, addding confidence scores based on the data origin's authenticity and reliability, the "age" of the detail since creation etc.
- Extracting The system employs a wide range of "extractors” which are a set of “black boxes” which (separately or in conjunction with each other) extract people's details as best as possible (normalizing, correcting and validating them from content, metadada and previously discovered details).

- Relationship based permissions e.g. "parent” automatically gains view-level access to all "Personal” documents and "spouse” gains full permission to all documents of a user and its children.
- the permissions model is comprised of static (per document/category) and dynamic (relation based) parts. All permission can be easily and quickly revoked.
- Managing and protecting documents and information may be done in various ways, such as, for example:
