La présente invention concerne un élément de protection du torse pour arts martiaux comprenant : un revêtement de torse (210, 310) présentant une forme apte à recouvrir le torse d'un utilisateur ; une bande de raccordement d'épaules (220, 320) reliée à la partie supérieure du revêtement de torse (210, 310) ; une bande de raccordement de taille (230, 330) formée pour relier les deux côtés inférieurs du revêtement de torse (210, 310) ; un fil (240, 340) reliant la bande de raccordement d'épaules (220, 320) et la bande de raccordement de taille (230, 330) entre elles ; et un module de réglage de fil (250, 350) placé sur le fil (240, 340), un porteur ajustant de manière autonome la longueur du fil (240, 340) par une technique de rotation d'un cadran de réglage (253, 353) du module de réglage de fil (250, 350).
