Definitions
- the present invention relates to a high-frequency therapy device for electrotherapy to the affected area using high frequency, and more particularly, by applying a high frequency to the affected part of the human body, in addition to the electrotherapy effect such as the generation of deep heat due to the high-frequency bipolar high frequency, the semi-polar high frequency at regular intervals
- the present invention relates to a high-frequency therapy device having a contraction and relaxation effect of human muscle similar to low frequency by supplying to the affected area.
- Electrotherapy is a method of treating the affected area by directing current through the human body. Generally, 1-1,000 Hz is classified as low frequency current, 1,000-100,000 Hz is medium frequency current, and 100,000 Hz (100KHz) is classified as high frequency current according to frequency. . Select the appropriate electric treatment method according to the purpose of use and site of use such as pain control, exercise control, tissue healing, deep heat treatment, and electrodiagnosis.
- High-frequency electrotherapy has the advantage of promoting heat metabolism and muscle movement by generating heat in the core of the body without destroying the tissue. It promotes hair growth, treats knee arthritis, improves blood circulation, regenerates tissues, and relieves pain. It is widely used in cancer cell proliferation suppression, obesity management, acne removal, blemish removal, meridians and massage of acupuncture points.
- Low frequency electrotherapy is an intermittent low frequency (1-1,000 Hz) that applies an electrical signal with a constant pulse width (eg, 500usec square wave) to the affected part of the human body. The low frequency electric signal is applied to the muscles of the human body to contract the muscles, and the muscles are relaxed again at the time when the electric signal is not applied. Thus, low frequency electrotherapy has the effect of alleviating pain by contraction and relaxation of muscles by electrical stimulation.
- high frequency Since high frequency has a very small vibration width when energizing the human tissue, the high frequency hardly causes ion movement in the human tissue, and does not cause electrochemical reaction or electrolysis.
- these high frequencies When these high frequencies are energized in the human body, heat is generated in the tissue, which is called “deep fever”.
- the reason why deep heat is generated is that whenever high-frequency electric energy is applied to human tissues, whenever the polarity of the power source changes, molecules constituting the tissues vibrate and rub against each other. This is because it generates heat.
- High frequency therapies that have been developed and marketed to date are those that apply signals above 100KHz to the human body. Continuous high frequency does not cause contraction and relaxation of human muscles. When a general high frequency signal is applied to the affected area, only deep heat is generated with respect to the high frequency supply voltage, and there is no electrical stimulation such as contraction and relaxation of the human muscle.
- Bi-polar radio frequency signal in the radiofrequency therapy device has a characteristic that does not stimulate the muscles that contract and relax the muscles in the human body.
- the bipolar high frequency signal is alternated with a high frequency signal with respect to a reference point, and has a frequency shape as shown in FIG.
- the bipolar radiofrequency signal has a disadvantage in that there is no muscle irritation, and the patient does not feel the intensity of treatment, and the patient does not trust the treatment and thus the treatment is less active. On the other hand, in case of excessive high frequency signal, the patient does not feel the electrical stimulation and there is a risk of secondary injury such as burn.
- an object of the present invention is to develop an electrotherapy apparatus having the effects of contraction and relaxation of muscles using low frequency electrical signals together with the effect of thermal action using high frequency electrical signals.
- an object of the present invention is to provide a safe electrotherapy device without having to include a high frequency signal generator and a low frequency signal generator, respectively, while having the effects of a high frequency signal and a low frequency signal.
- a part of a bi-polar high frequency signal applied to the affected part is supplied only by the control signal to the unpolar of the bipolar high frequency signal, thereby reducing the affected part by the semi-polar high frequency signal.
- the high frequency treatment device of the present invention causes the bipolar and semipolar high frequency signals to be alternately generated (see FIG. 7B).
- the bipolar high frequency signal is alternated with a +,-high frequency signal with respect to the reference point, and the half pole generates only a + or-high frequency signal.
- the high frequency treatment device includes a high frequency signal generator including a control unit for controlling high frequency signal generation, a pad unit contacting and supplying a high frequency signal to the affected part, and a signal supply line connecting them.
- the patient can experience both high frequency therapeutic effects such as deep heat treatment effect and low frequency therapeutic effects such as muscle contraction and relaxation effect through a single electrotherapy.
- the electrical stimulation such as low-frequency signals, has the advantage of controlling the strength of the radio frequency signal in accordance with the strength of the electrical stimulation.
- the present invention alternately supplies a bipolar radiofrequency signal and a semipolar radiofrequency signal when alternating high frequency to the affected part of the patient, thereby having a deep heat treatment effect by the bipolar radiofrequency signal and muscle contraction and relaxation effect by the bipolar radiofrequency signal.
- the patient has the advantage of detecting the therapeutic effect and the intensity of the radiofrequency through the contraction and relaxation of the muscle.
- the half-wave high frequency signal is applied to the affected area to have muscle contraction and relaxation effects such as low-frequency therapy equipment.
- electrical stimulation (treatment intensity) felt by the patient may induce active treatment of the patient.
- the present invention when compared with the effect of general low frequency treatment of stimulating transdermal nerve, the present invention has a much higher therapeutic effect by supplying bipolar high frequency antipolar signal to stimulate deep muscles.
