It would be installed typically but not exclusively by driving into soil or fill with an appropriate pile driver.

Abstract

Un micro-pieu est décrit pour ancrer des sections de palplanche pour former une structure de paroi. Le micro-pieu a une enveloppe, autour de laquelle sont formée, de manière périphérique, une pluralité de barres d'enclenchement externes. Lors de l'utilisation, d'autres barres d'enclenchement correspondantes sur les sections de palplanche peuvent s'imbriquer avec les barres d'enclenchement externes du micro-pieu, sur une plage d'angles dépendant d'un degré directionnel de ladite structure de paroi.
