Abstract
Apparatus for protecting a pressurised fluid system from excessive pressure, comprising: a vessel for storing a pressurised fluid; and at least one inflatable element disposed inside the vessel, the element when inflated having a variable volume that can be compressed by a surrounding pressurised fluid inside the vessel such that the volume of the element can compensate a change in volume of the surrounding pressurised fluid.
