Abstract
The invention relates to a method for operating a control component for an aircraft on the basis of a software framework comprising at least one multicore processor for parallel execution of safety-critical avionics applications, the processor architecture comprising at least one system bus and at least one separate peripheral bus, and applications being executed in parallel on two or more application processor cores and access to the peripheral bus being managed by a dedicated I/O processor core.
