Description
DESCRIPTION
COMPUTERIZED METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ANALYSING THE MOVEMENT OF A USER IN A PREDETERMINED AREA OF INTEREST.
Technical field
This invention relates to a method and computerized system for analysing the movement of a user to increase the physical activity due to the movement of a user (in particular the use of a bicycle) in a predetermined area of interest.
Background art
As is known, there is a strongly felt need for monitoring and encouraging physical activity moving along a path (in particular the use of bicycles for urban and suburban travel).
Medical studies have confirmed that a certain amount of physical activity to be performed daily or weekly due to movement along a path has extremely positive effects on the health of the individuals concerned.
More specifically, as is known, most of the population has a particularly sedentary lifestyle: in that sense, the need is particularly felt to provide incentives for the performance of physical activity due to the movement. In particular, a particularly strongly need is that of providing incentives which can encourage physical activity due to movement in predetermined area.
In fact, it has been found statistically that, in some areas, even with particularly modern infrastructures for pedestrians and cyclists, the physical activity due to the movement of the users, by either walking, running cycling or with other means of manual movement (skates, skateboards, etc.), is not particularly high.
In that sense, there has been a long felt need to be able to selectively encourage, in predetermined areas of interest, physical activity due the movement of the users. Disclosure of the invention
The aim of this invention is therefore to satisfy the above-mentioned need. More specifically, the aim of this invention is to provide a method and a computer-implemented system for analysing physical movement of a user along a path to encourage the physical activity of the user in a predetermined area which satisfies the above-mentioned need.
A further aim of the invention is to provide a method and a computerized system for analysing physical activity of a user due to the movement which is particularly simple and fast.
The above-mentioned aim is achieved by a method and a computerized system according to this invention for monitoring the physical activity of a user.

In this way, advantageously, the credit or score is actually increased by (by a value greater than 0) only if the user has executed a significant part of the movement inside the predetermined region: it should be noted that, according to this aspect, the movement of the user inside the area is
effectively encouraged, by means of an increase in the credit or score made available.
