Abstract

The invention relates to a surgical clip (10) for a clip applier (1), comprising a clip body (100) with at least two limbs (141, 142), which have a closure element (161, 162) of a closing device (106) at the free distal ends and are connected in an articulated manner on the opposite proximal ends. It is provided that each limb (141, 142) has at least one guide element (147, 148, 157, 158) which is suitable to pivot at least one limb (141, 142) relative to the opposite limb (142, 141) outwardly in order to open the clip (10) and/or inwardly in order to lock the closing device 106). In the case of a surgical clip applier (1) which comprises a shaft tube (6), guide devices (19a, 19b) which are stationarily arranged in the shaft tube (6) and extend in the longitudinal direction of the shaft tube (6), which are suitable to guide at least one clip (10) having two limbs (141, 142) in the shaft tube (6), and a thrust element (25) which is longitudinally displaceable in the shaft tube (6) and suitable to displace at least one clip (10) in the distal direction, it is proposed that the guide devices (19a, 19b) extend in one section in a diverging manner and extend in an indirectly or directly following section in a converging manner when seen in the distal direction. A shaft (6) of the clip applier (1) can be divisible, wherein a detachable part can serve as a clip magazine (300).
