DESCRIPCIÓN DESCRIPTION
Envase para lonchas de productos alimentarios OBJETO DE LA INVENCIÓN Packaging for slices of food products OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The purpose of this application is to register a package for slices of food products that incorporates notable innovations. More specifically, the invention proposes the development of a package for slices of food products that allows the transport and handling of a plurality of slices in a comfortable and hygienic manner.
ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓN BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
At present, the packaging of slices of food products in plastic containers is known, in which a certain quantity of these slices is deposited for transport and preservation under optimal hygienic conditions, generally under vacuum. However, when it is desired to pack a relatively large amount of slices in a conventional package, it is necessary to have separators between each of the slices to prevent them from sticking together and thus the consumer can subsequently separate as many slices as he needs. This solution implies a greater use of material resources, in addition to returning to the slower and more difficult packaging process, which results in higher packaging costs and higher consumption of raw materials for packaging.
On the other hand, when the slices are grouped to optimize the occupied space, it is not possible for the user to see each and every one of the slices before choosing a certain slice.
DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA INVENCIÓN DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention has been developed in order to provide a package for slices of food products that solves the aforementioned drawbacks, providing, in addition, other additional advantages that will be evident from the description that follows.
It is therefore an object of the present invention a package for slices of food products comprising at least two elongated laminar bodies linked and superimposed on each other, each of the laminar bodies being provided with at least one transverse folding line, both folding lines coinciding with each other, said folding lines dividing the laminar bodies into two folding portions on both sides of a folding line, such that in a folded condition the folding portions are arranged one above the other folded in zigzag, at least one storage space between both laminar bodies being defined in each folding portion, said storage space being susceptible to receiving at least one slice of food product. Thanks to these characteristics, hygienic manipulation is achieved, since you do not have to touch the slices to choose a certain slice, the occupied space is optimized since in a folded condition, the different folding portions are arranged one above the other in zigzag, easily unfolding when the user wants a slice, raw materials are saved since no separators are needed between the slices, simpler packaging procedures are achieved by not introducing any separator between the slices.
According to a feature of the invention, the laminar bodies can have at least one gripping tongue on a transverse end side. Thanks to this grip tab it is possible to comfortably unfold the container from a zigzag folded condition.
On the other hand the laminar bodies are preferably films of plastic material. According to an embodiment of the invention the laminar bodies may be integrally made.
In the present invention, the term transverse should be understood as a direction substantially perpendicular to the length of the container. As for the extreme side, each of the outer sides of the package that defines the laminar bodies should be understood. Other features and advantages of the package for slices of food products object of the present invention will be apparent from the description of a preferred but not exclusive embodiment, which is illustrated by way of non-limiting example in the accompanying drawings, in the which: BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

As shown in the accompanying figures, a preferred but not exclusive embodiment of a food packaging package generally designated with the reference numeral 1 is shown. In the attached figures, elements not visible with dashed lines have been represented.
In the attached figures, it can be seen that the sliced food product package 1 comprises two elongated sheet bodies 21, 22, linked and superimposed on each other, as can be seen in Figures 3-5. In Figure 3 it can also be seen that each of the laminar bodies 21, 22 is provided with a plurality of folding lines 3 cross-sections coinciding with each other, so that said folding lines 3 divide the laminar bodies 21, 22 into two folding portions 6 on both sides of the folding line 3. The number of folding portions 6 will logically depend on the amount of slices 5 to pack.
In the folded condition shown in Figure 1, the plurality of folding portions 6 are arranged one above the other in a zigzag fold as shown in Figure 5; This zigzag folding condition will be explained in more detail later. In each folding portion 6 a storage space 7 is preferably defined between both laminar bodies 21, 22, said storage space 7 being capable of receiving at least one slice 5 of food product.
In Fig. 4 an arrangement of the two laminar bodies 21, 22, the packaged slice 5 and the storage space 7 generated between the folding lines 3 and the longitudinal end sides 13, 14 and / or the ones is shown schematically. transverse end sides 1 1, 12. It should be mentioned that said arrangement has been exaggeratedly represented since the different elements have been separated from each other for reasons of clarity.
The laminar bodies 21, 22 have two grip tongues 4 preferably on the transverse end sides 1, 13 to facilitate the deployment operation as will be explained. Instead of a pair of grip tabs 4 the invention may have a single grip tongue 4 or even more, depending on the particular needs.
In image 3 it is seen that the gripping tabs 4 of each laminar body 21, 22 are also superimposed one below the other in plan views, like the rest of each laminar body 21, 22.
As for the manufacture of the laminar bodies 21, 22 it is preferred that they be films of plastic material. This plastic material may be any available to the person skilled in the art that meets the expected requirements, for example food.
In an alternative embodiment not illustrated, the laminar bodies 21, 22 may be made integrally, that is to say that instead of presenting two laminar bodies 21, 22 totally independent of each other and subsequently proceeding to its joining, it may be made from a single sheet or of laminar bodies 21, 22 linked to each other at least partially. An alternative example could be a single sheet that bends in a U-shape and thus achieve two branches as laminar bodies 21, 22.
An alternative embodiment is illustrated in Fig. 6 in which a folding portion 6 comprises an airtight receptacle 8. This airtight receptacle 8 may contain oil, crushed tomatoes, etc. or other food condiments as a unit dose for consumption together with the slices 5. The hermetic receptacle 8 can be manufactured integrally with the laminar bodies 21, 22, presenting a separation line 81 to differentiate itself from the storage space 7; The separation line 81 can be made by heat, pressure, bonding, etc. although it will be obvious to the person skilled in the art to produce the hermetic receptacle 8 independently and to join it to the folding portion 6. In any case the separation line 81 will not interfere with the zigzag configuration of the present invention. The number of hermetic receptacles 8 may vary according to particular needs.
Regarding the food product, it can be for example ham, sausage, sausage, cheese, etc. and the like, although it will be obvious to the person skilled in the art to apply the present invention to any other food that can be packaged as described. In addition, the distribution of these food products may be chosen based on particular needs or tastes.
When packing the slices 5, two laminar bodies 21, 22 will be positioned as shown in Figure 3 with folding lines 3. Preferably, these two laminar bodies 21, 22 will be identical and therefore when viewed on the ground floor appreciate that difference. Subsequently, the different slices 5 are placed in the respective storage spaces 7 and the different slices 5, for example, are closed under vacuum, for this the end sides 1 1-14 of the laminar bodies 21, 22 will be firmly sealed to each other. . Continuing with the folding process, starting from the unfolded condition of figure 3, we proceed to fold along the folding lines 3, overlapping the different folding portions 6 from each other, following a zigzag distribution (seen laterally) as it appears in Figures 2 and 5. Subsequently, a folded condition of the package for slices of food products 1 is achieved as shown in Figure 1. All the folding portions 6 are stacked one on top of the other and linked to each other thanks to the folding lines 3. When the consumer wishes to access any of the slices 5 packaged, he will proceed to follow the aforementioned steps in reverse, using the grip tabs 4 for stretching the food product slicing container 1 from the folded condition of figure 1 to the unfolded condition of figure 3. When the contents of the airtight receptacle 8 are needed, the user can tear it and serve its contents over the slices 5.
The details, shapes, dimensions and other accessory elements, as well as the materials used in the manufacture of sliced food product packages 1 of the invention may be conveniently replaced by others that do not depart from the scope defined by the claims to be include below.
