Abstract
In order to effectively dry building structures by means of infrared radiators, it is known that it is necessary to alternate between heating periods and rest periods, so that, following a drying phase, the moisture, which strives for uniform propagation, can be removed. However, a setting of the heating periods and rest periods can currently be performed by feel alone. The aim of the invention is to eliminate this problem and render the drying process more effective. Said aim is achieved by the use of empirical knowledge which can be made available by a database or can be implemented into time specifications using measurements. Heating periods and rest periods are read in as a function of the material and thus optimal drying conditions are created depending on the material to be dried.
