- HEMS Home Energy Management System
- a device management apparatus in which it is possible to determine whether or not there is a person in a building without using an outing switch, and the operation of the device according to the determination result can be performed.
- the presence level and the absence level of the user are determined by using at least one of the operation state and the operation for the specific device used in the building, and the combination of the presence level and the absence level is determined.
- a corresponding instruction is given to a predetermined device. Therefore, it is possible to determine whether or not there is a person in the building without using an outing switch. Moreover, it is possible to give an instruction on whether to permit or stop the operation of a predetermined device according to the determination result.
- FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing functional blocks of the device management apparatus 10 in the present embodiment.
- the device management apparatus 10 includes a detection unit 11, a determination unit 12, and an output unit 13.
- the detecting unit 11 detects at least one of an operation state and an operation state for a specific device 21 used in a house as a building.
- the determination unit 12 has a presence level that is a degree of possibility of being in the building (that is, being at home) and a degree of possibility that the resident is not in the building (that is, being absent). Decide one of the absence levels.

- the specific device 21 is used.
- the device 21 may be a sensor that detects whether a resident is at home or away. This type of sensor is typically a human sensor using a pyroelectric infrared sensor, but may be a TV camera, or may be a sensor incorporated in another device 21 instead of an independent sensor. Good.
- the specific device 21 for which the detection unit 11 detects the state and the predetermined device 22 for which the output unit 13 gives an instruction may be the same or different. That is, when at least one of the specific device 21 and the predetermined device 22 is plural, a part or all of both may overlap.
- the specific device 21 and the predetermined device 22 will be described by being distinguished only by reference numerals. That is, the device 21 means a specific device 21, and the device 22 means a predetermined device 22.
- the “operation” among the states of the device 21 detected by the detection unit 11 is selected not only from the state at the time when the operation is performed, but also from a predetermined determination period (for example, one day, one week, or one month). ). Therefore, the detection unit 11 has a function of storing an operation history. “Operation” in the state of the device 21 detected by the detection unit 11 mainly means whether the device 21 is operating or stopped.
- “operation” corresponds to operating a switch or a remote control device in order to instruct the lighting device to turn on, turn off, dimming light, and the like.
- the “operation” corresponds to the operation of the lighting fixture such as lighting and extinguishing.
- the device 21 is an air conditioning device or an audio-visual device.
- the detection unit 11 can indirectly detect the state of operation or operation based on the transition of the current passing through the branch circuit to which the corresponding device 21 is connected. That is, if the current passing through the main circuit and branch circuit of the distribution board or the outlet (outlet) is measured by the current sensor, the operation or operation state of the device 21 can be detected.
- the current sensor is selected from a configuration in which a coil is wound around a toroidal core, a Rogowski coil, a configuration in which a toroidal core and a magnetic sensor are combined, a shunt resistance, and the like.

That is, the operation state of the device 21 means at least one of the operation and operation of the device 21.
- the determination unit 12 obtains the presence level that is the degree of possibility that the resident is at home or the absence level that is the degree of possibility that the resident is absent according to the state of operation of the device 21.
- the presence level and the absence level are each selected from a plurality of stages. In the present embodiment, the presence level stage and the absence level are both selected from three stages of 0, 1, and 2.
- the presence level and the absence level mean that 0 is a standard value, the existence level is less likely to exist from 0 to 2, and the absence level is absent from 0 to 2. Means less likely.
- the determination unit 12 applies the determination rule to the operation state of the device 21 to derive the presence level or the absence level. The decision rule will be described later.

- the device 21 is a specific lighting device, it is considered that many residents have a habit of turning on the lighting device within a predetermined time after returning home. Accordingly, in this case as well, in consideration of lifestyle habits, the presence level or the absence level can be determined from the operation state of the device 21.
- the determination unit 12 may take these information into account when determining the presence level or the absence level. For example, when going out, the time zone may be different between weekdays and holidays, and the type of device 21 used within a predetermined time before going out may be different depending on the day of the week. Therefore, when the determination unit 12 determines the presence level or the absence level using the history regarding the operation state of the device 21, it is possible to improve the determination accuracy by considering the day of the week and the time zone.
- the determination unit 12 determines the presence level or the absence level, it is possible to use the operation states of a plurality of types of devices 21. In this case, the determination unit 12 determines the presence level or the absence level by combining the operation states obtained from the plurality of devices 21.
- Table 1 shows an example of a determination rule for determining the presence level or the absence level using the operation states obtained from the two types of devices 21.
- “no operation” means that a predetermined determination time has passed without the device 21 being operated.
- the presence level or the absence level is determined based on the operation states of the two types of devices 21 (device 1 and device 2). In this example, the presence level of “with operation” is set to 0, the absence level of “with operation” is set to 1, the presence level of “without operation” is set to 1, and the absence level of “without operation” is set to each device 21. It is assumed that it is determined in advance to be zero.
- the determination unit 12 determines the result of adding the presence level and the absence level obtained for each device 21 as the final presence level or the absence level.
- the determination unit 12 preferentially handles the device 1 with respect to the device 2 and determines the presence level when the device 1 is “operated”, and the device 1 is “no operation”. ”Is the absence level.
- “-” means that the presence level or the absence level is not obtained.
- the determination unit 12 determines that the presence level is 2 which is the highest, and neither of them is operated. When the determination time elapses, it can be determined that the absence level is 2 which is the highest. Further, when only the device 1 is “operated”, the presence level is 1, and when only the device 2 is “operated”, the absent level is 1.
- a determination rule may be set so that a weighting factor is assigned to each device 21. That is, the weight coefficient of the highly reliable device 21 is increased in order to distinguish between presence and absence.
- the determination unit 12 determines the presence level or the absence level
- the result obtained by multiplying the presence level and the absence level obtained for each device 21 by the weighting coefficient is added to the presence level and the absence level.
- the weighting factor is set to be 1 when the weighting factors assigned to all the devices 21 are added.
- the existence level and the absence level obtained as described above may not be an integer value
- an operation for rounding the calculation result to an integer value, such as rounding off is performed, and the existence level and the absence level are set to 0, 1, 2 You may correct to either value.

- the determination unit 12 determines the presence level or the absence level using five types of devices 21.
- the presence level or the absence level can be obtained for each group.
- the presence level and the absence level for each group are treated in the same manner as the presence level and the absence level for each device 21, and the determination unit 12 combines the presence level or the absence level for each group as in the example of Table 1, Finally, the presence level or absence level is obtained.
- the devices 21 in the group may be similar devices 21.
- the lighting devices in the group are equivalent, and when one of them is lit, it is determined as “operated (lit)”, and when both are turned off, it is determined as “no operation (dark)”.
- the determination unit 12 may obtain the presence level and the absence level using a weighting factor. However, it is not essential to use a weighting factor.
- the output unit 13 gives an instruction to the device 22 according to the combination of the presence level and the absence level.

- the content of the instruction given to the electric lock by the output unit 13 is selected from “locking”, “notification”, and “non-control”.
- Locking means controlling to lock the electric lock
- notification means notifying the resident's mobile terminal or a dedicated device used by the resident that the electric lock has been unlocked. To do.
- the dedicated device is selected from a display attached to the controller of the HEMS or an operation display used for operating the electric lock.
- Non-control means that no instruction is given from the output unit 13 to the electric lock.

- the device management apparatus 10 is in accordance with the degree of possibility that the resident is at home, or the possibility that the resident is out (that is, not at home or absent).
- the operation of the device 22 can be changed.
- an outing switch is unnecessary.
- whether or not the device 21 has been operated is determined by determining the determination time, and therefore, the longer the elapsed time since going out, the higher the possibility that it is determined that there is no presence, and the absence level Thus, the instruction content to the device 22 is determined.
- the device management apparatus 10 determines the content of the instruction to the device 22 separately for the presence level and the absence level, the device 22 can be instructed to be close to the operation at home within the range of the presence level. In the absence level range, the device 22 can be instructed to be close to the operation when going out. On the other hand, if the possibility of staying at home is low even in the range of the presence level, the operation of the device 22 is brought closer to the operation at the time of going out, and if the possibility of absence is low even in the range of the absence level, the operation of the device 22 is performed. It will be closer to the action at home.

- the output unit 13 gives an instruction according to the presence level or the absence level to a predetermined device used by the user in the building.
- the outing switch is used. Without the presence or absence of the user.
- the determination unit 12 determines the presence level or the absence level by using a combination of information related to the states of a plurality of types of specific devices 21.
- a weighting factor may be set for each specific device 21.
- the determination unit 12 applies the weighting factor for each specific device 21 to the presence level or the absence level determined for each specific device 21, and uses the presence level and the absence level after applying the weighting factor. Determine the presence or absence level.
- the reliability of the presence level or the absence level determined by increasing the weighting factor of the device 21 that reflects the presence or absence of the user. Can be increased.
- the determination unit 12 may divide a specific device into a plurality of groups. In this case, the determination unit 12 determines the presence level or the absence level by using a combination of the presence level or the absence level obtained for each group of specific devices 21.

- FIG. 3 is a block diagram showing functional blocks of the device management apparatus 10A in the present embodiment.
- this embodiment includes an outing switch 20 that is operated by a resident when going out and returning home.
- the outing switch 20 is a switch for the resident to switch between the presence state and the absence state, and either a mechanical switch having an operation handle or a touch switch having no handle is selected.
- an electromagnet device for opening and closing the contacts may be incorporated so that remote control is possible.
- the outing switch 20 is switched to the absence state by the operation of the resident when the resident goes out, and is switched to the presence state by the operation of the resident when the resident returns home.
- the device management apparatus 10 ⁇ / b> A includes an acquisition unit 14 that acquires an operation state from the outing switch 20. In other words, the acquisition unit 14 acquires information indicating whether the outing switch 20 is in the presence state or the absence state.
- the determination unit 12A of the present embodiment detects the operation state of the outing switch 20 acquired by the acquisition unit 14 when determining the presence level or the absence level. It is used in preference to the operation state of the device 21 detected by the unit 11. That is, the determination unit 12A determines the presence level using the state obtained from the device 21 when the presence state is selected by the outing switch 20, and when the absence state is selected by the outing switch 20, The state obtained from 21 is used to determine the absence level.
- Table 5 shows an example of a determination rule for determining the presence level or the absence level in the determination unit 12A.
- the determination unit 12A estimates the presence level as 0 when the presence state is selected by the outing switch 20, and estimates the absence level as 2 when the absence state is selected by the outing switch 20.
- the presence level 0 is the standard level
- the absence level is 2 as the standard level
- the standard level means the level where the possibility of being at home or going out is the maximum.
- the determination unit 12A corrects the presence level or the absence level using the operation state of the device 21 detected by the detection unit 11 in a state where the standard level is selected by operating the outing switch 20. have. Therefore, as shown in Table 5, the determination unit 12A can determine the presence level and the absence level based on the operation state of the outing switch 20 and the operation state of the device 21.
- the determination unit 12A changes the absence level to the existence side when the device 21 is operated while the outing switch 20 selects the absence state, and the outing switch 20 selects the existence state. If the device 21 is not operated, the presence level is changed to the absent side. On the other hand, when the device 21 is operated with the outing switch 20 selecting the presence state, the determination unit 12A further changes the presence level to the presence side, and the outing switch 20 selects the absence state. If the device 21 is not operated in the state, the absent level is further changed to the absent side.
- “change to the presence side” means that the user is likely to be present in the building. Further, “change to the absent side” means that the user is likely to be absent from the building. In the following, the same expression is used.
- the determination unit 12A can more reliably determine the state of whether the resident is at home or the resident is out as time passes.
- the device 21 may be a sensor that detects whether the resident is at home or away, or this type of sensor may be incorporated in the device 21.

- the selected state may be reversed.
- the first determination, the second determination, and the third determination represent the determination results that change with the passage of time. Until the end of the predetermined determination period, the first determination, the end of the determination period, and the predetermined monitoring period The second determination is until the end, and the third determination is after the monitoring period. The monitoring period is set to be longer than the determination period. Table 6 shows the determination rule only when the outing switch 20 has selected the presence state.
- the presence level becomes 0 when the outing switch 20 selects the presence state. Thereafter, if the device 21 is not operated, the presence level is 1 until the determination time. This is the determination result of the first determination. Thereafter, the existence level becomes 2 from the end of the determination period to the end of the monitoring period. This is the determination result of the second determination. And if the period when the apparatus 21 is not operated reaches a monitoring period, the output part 13 will judge that a resident is absent, and will change the going-out switch 20 to an absent state. This is the determination result of the third determination.
- the outing switch 20 When the outing switch 20 has selected the absence state, when the device 21 is operated, the absence level becomes 2, so when the operation of the device 21 is detected within a predetermined time after the absence level becomes 2.
