Abstract

The present disclosure relates generally to improving the management and provisoning of configurable computing resources. Certain techniques are disclosed herein for managing and provisoning the configurable computing resources (e.g. networks, network bandwidth, servers, PODs, processing, memory, storage, applications, virtual machines, services, etc.) based on resource policies. One of these techniques provides the user with the ability to control the provisioning of the configurable computing resources to some extent based on demand based policies and/or contribution based policies.
