Abstract

The utility model relates to generators of single photons. The essence of the solution consists in a device for generating single photons, the device comprising a waveguide and a diamond structure with at least one colour centre which is delivered by external radiation or electrical pumping, characterized in that a layer of metamaterial having hyperbolic dispersion is applied to a section of the external surface of the waveguide, and the diamond structure is arranged above the layer of metamaterial. The technical result is the creation of a portable device for generating a large number of single photons.
