  • Upper gripping arm assembly 24 and gripping arm 25, and lower gripping arm assembly 27 and gripping arm 28 are shaped as elongate curved resilient members having a length with ends being curved towards each other (almost mirror like) but not meeting forming an almost enclosed space there between as seen in figure 2.
  • the length of the arms being generally curved commensurate when in use in a horizontal plane or be parallel to the plane defined by upper surface 13 of platform 10.
  • Gripping arm assemblies 24 and 27 are shaped similar to each other while gripping arms 25 and 28 are shaped the same as each other.
  • Gripping arm assemblies 24 and 27 each include a pair of arms which are parallel with each other and spaced there apart by a curved elongate arm space 35 being a curved recess in plan view with a curved end wall and entrance, whereby there is an outer arm 36 and inner arm 37.
  • Outer arm 36 includes a distal end which is joined or extends from a distal end of inner arm 37.
  • Outer arm 36 includes an outer planar curved vertical surface and an inner serrated curved vertical surface 40.
  • Inner arm 37 includes a curved inner (with respect to the space 35) serrated vertical side surface 41 and an outer curved vertical planar surface 43 with vertical spaced ribs 44. However outer curved vertical planar surface 43 is inner with respect to the mouth 61 (see page 7).

  • One can unclip or remove the height clip 1 from the elongate member 63 by simply flexibly lifting at least the outer arm 36 or even just be cutting the arms.
  • outer arm 36 and inner arm 37 and of the upper and lower gripping arms 25 and 28 define a thickness dimension whereby the thickness of inner arm 37 is less than the thickness of upper and lower gripping arms 25 & 28 and of outer arm 36.
  • Outer arm 36 can have the greatest thickness of all the arms.
  • the height clip 1 grips the outer portion of the reinforcing bar 63 to enable the height clip 1 to be held in place according to a desired height or level to withstand any unintentional movement knocking or concrete being poured, wind and rain as required when being used on site.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne une pince de hauteur qui permet de marquer ou de définir la hauteur d'un niveau particulier en étant capable d'entrer en prise avec un élément allongé. Ladite invention comprend un corps qui comprend une partie de support (2), qui possède une partie d'indication de hauteur (3) qui s'étend à partir d'au moins un côté de la partie de support (2), et une partie de retenue (4) qui s'étend à partir d'un autre côté de la partie de support (2). La partie d'indication de hauteur (3) comprend une plate-forme (10) qui s'étend à partir d'une partie de support de plate-forme (11) qui est reliée à ou formée sur un côté (5) de la partie de support (2) qui comprend au moins une surface supérieure (13) pour fournir le niveau. La partie de retenue (4) comprend au moins un ensemble de préhension comprenant un ensemble bras de préhension (24) espacé d'un bras de préhension adjacent (25) qui forme une entrée de gorge (60) qui conduit à une embouchure (61) entre ceux-ci. L'ensemble bras de préhension (24) comprend une paire de bras (36, 37) qui forment un espace de bras (35) entre eux, les bras étant conçus et formés pour recevoir au moins une partie du bras de préhension (25), l'embouchure (61) étant conçue pour recevoir et retenir une partie de l'élément allongé, et le bras de préhension (24) étant retenu entre la paire de bras (36, 37) pour retenir de manière circonférentielle la pince de hauteur en place sur l'élément allongé selon une hauteur souhaitée ou un niveau souhaité.
