Abstract

The invention relates to a protective element for connecting to a concrete element (10) of a tunnel construction, which protective element has at least one protective segment (21, 22, 23), which has a side facing the concrete element (10), on which side at least one connecting element (24, 25, 26, 27, 28) is provided for producing a retaining connection of the protective segment (21, 22, 23) to the concrete element (10), wherein the protective segment (21, 22, 23) has a bottom segment (21) and/or a wall segment (22, 23) and at least one region made of at least one plastic, and the protective element has at least one seal (30), which is integrally connected to the protective segment (21, 22, 23), wherein the connection is gas-tight and liquid-tight, and the integral connection of the seal to the protective segment is produced by injection molding with the at least one plastic and forms a first segment of the bottom segment (21) and/or of the wall segment (22, 23) of the protective segment (21, 22, 23). With regard to the protective element, the bottom segment (21) and/or the wall segment (22, 23) of the protective segment (21, 22, 23) has/have at least a second segment, wherein the second segment has a planar extent and the second segment is connected to the first segment by injection molding.
