Abstract
The invention relates to a method for transporting gas from a point of production to a point of use. The method comprises: a step of liquefying the gas, in which the gas is cooled to a temperature lower than a temperature for liquefying said gas in a heat exchange unit (10); and a step of transporting the liquefied gas to the point of use. Said method is characterized in that the heat exchange unit (10) is near the point of production and in that frigories, from a medium (5) pre-stored in a tank near the heat exchange unit (10), are used for cooling in the heat exchange unit (10).
