Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système permettant de faire monter de la boue de forage depuis un fond marin jusqu'à un engin de forage flottant, ledit système utilisant une pompe comportant un corps doté d'une chambre, et une vessie située dans la chambre. La vessie se fixe sur le corps et définit des côtés eau et boue dans la chambre. Une soupape d'entrée de boue permet de faire entrer la boue dans le côté boue de la chambre, laquelle déplace la vessie dans le côté eau et pousse l'eau dans le côté eau à partir de la chambre et à travers une soupape de sortie d'eau. De l'eau sous pression entre dans la chambre par une soupape d'entrée d'eau, laquelle pousse à son tour la vessie et la boue à partir de la chambre à travers une soupape de sortie de boue. La vessie sépare la boue et l'eau alors qu'elle effectue un mouvement de va et vient dans la chambre. Le déplacement de la vessie dans la chambre est régulée afin d'empêcher un endommagement provoqué par un contact avec la chambre.
