  • Example inspection method for appearance evaluation Using a Yamaden creep meter (MODELRE 2-3305B), the center of the solution addition filter placed in a polypropylene bag with a load cell ( ⁇ 2.0 mm) from a point where the filter diameter is 7.7 mm at a load cell speed of 0.1 mm / sec. The filter diameter was pushed to 5.7 mm. * The load cell displacement amount is assumed to be 2 mm, which may be crushed when the cigarette is rolled up. The results are shown in Table 4. From the results in Table 4, it was found that the solution added to the filter is preferably 250 mg / 10 mm or less.
  • the cigarette with a filter of the present invention prevents propylene glycol contained in the solution added to the filter section constituting the filter part from volatilizing during storage of the cigarette with filter. From this, the cigarette with a filter of the present invention has high storage stability after production, and selective removal of specific components in tobacco smoke by propylene glycol even after a certain storage period until the smoker uses it. The effect on the product will not change. In addition, since the solution added to the filter is prevented from leaking out of the filter during storage, the appearance can be maintained well even after a certain storage period. According to the present invention, the solution having the specific composition can be retained in the filter without being held on a carrier such as silica gel or encapsulated in a capsule or the like.
