Abstract

This invention relates to a rope access chair which, thanks to its geometry, provides unique comfort and safety conditions to people working in heights, due to its two arms wherein two ropes can be attached, thus increasing the chair's stability. The angle formed between the arms of the chair causes the equilibrium of forces to be achieved, providing the worker with stability in parallel to the work's vertical plane. This invention allows two ropes to be installed, thereby increasing stability, since the opening angle of the arms allows the worker to be balanced in the two ropes in parallel to the work's vertical plane, also ensuring that the- space ahead is unobstructed so that he is able to work With his hands. The fact that the arms of the chair are ended with eyelets, allows descenders to be fixed thereto in order to perform lowering and raising operations. This invention is designed to be transported by a single man, thus providing greater work autonomy in what concerns the assembly operations of the ropes' systems intended for securing the workers, and its rigidity (which is similar to a common chair) exponentially enhances the workers' comfort.

Estado da técnica State of the art

The rope access technique for working at heights reduces operating costs and environmental impact as it eliminates the need to use traditional equipment such as scaffolding and lifting platforms to support workers, reducing the number of hours of operation, including assembly, disassembly and transport of these systems and, consequently, reduces the energy consumption of this same operation.

Professionals working in the field of "heights" are subject to extreme conditions of physical exertion, discomfort and also potentially hazardous situations with risks to human life. In this kind of tasks, the equipment developed shall ensure high levels of safety as well as high levels of physical comfort and psychological stability while performing these tasks.

State-of-the-art height suspension equipment is a single-seat fixed chair (used by operators for this type of task is a seat where the operator is seated). The chair is attached to a single upper end by a "rope" or "cable", which can be made of different materials, which allows to avoid the fall of the person who was suspended at a time when performing such a task.

State-of-the-art systems cause high oscillation and weak ergonomic conditions for the worker. As an illustration of this problem, it can be noted that with existing equipment the worker does not support a continuous workday, having to go down several times a day to rest and perform muscle stretching exercises.

The present invention differs from the state of the art in that in addition to the normal lashings of the worker, it also has the two of the Chair, which attach to the equipment by means of descents and footrests, increasing safety and comfort which are essential. for the worker to perform his work effectively.

As características técnicas diferenciadoras da presente invenção contribuem para o estado da técnica, no sentido que acrescentam os seguintes efeitos técnicos: Aumento da segurança do trabalhador uma vez que para além das amarrações normais, do trabalhador, conta também com as duas da cadeira, a qual apresenta assento e encosto rígidos almofadados e revestidos com napa ; The differentiating technical characteristics of the present invention contribute to the state of the art in that they add the following technical effects: Increased worker safety since, in addition to the normal worker moorings, it also has both of the chair, which has rigid padded and covered nappa seat and back;

Estabilidade em trabalhos em altura, pois foram desenvolvidos dois apoios que se fixam ao equipamento mediante descensores , que garantem a fixação da cadeira e o movimento descendente quando apertada a cavilha que vai soltando (destravando) as cordas. 0 operador com ambas as mãos em simultâneo aperta os descensores e a cadeira vai descendo. A estabilidade aumenta porque com as duas cordas afastadas quase im torna quase improvável que a cadeira rode sobre o seu eixo (rodopie) . Torna-se bastante útil em trabalhos nas torres eólicas onde as alturas são bastante consideráveis (as torres podem atingir alturas superiores a LOOmts) e onde acontecem situações onde os trabalhadores não têm nenhuma superfície vertical próxima para apoiarem as mãos;  Stability in working at heights, as two supports have been developed that are fixed to the equipment by means of sliders, which ensure the chair is fixed and the movement down when tightening the bolt that releases (unlocking) the ropes. The operator with both hands simultaneously presses the sliders and the chair descends. Stability increases because with the two ropes spaced almost apart, it makes it almost unlikely that the chair will rotate about its axis. It is very useful when working on wind towers where heights are quite considerable (towers can reach heights above LOOmts) and where situations occur where workers have no close vertical surface to support their hands;

Descrição da invenção Increased comfort, which is essential for the worker to perform his work effectively, as a worker performing work at height has a brutal physical and psychological strain, with this equipment we get a person who wants to work in this This area can, by means of a standard training, work at a height, which consequently solves another problem that exists in the sector which is the capture of labor.
