Abstract

Verfahren zur Herstellung von tertiären Aminen auf Basis von Polyisobutenpolymeren durch Umsetzung von Polyisobutenalkohol, optional im Gemisch mit Polyisobutenaldehyd, mit mindestens einem sekundären Amin in Gegenwart mindestens eines heterogenen Katalysators, der einen Gehalt an Nickel, berechnet als NiO, von weniger als 50 Gew% aufweist. Verfahren zur Herstellung von quaternisierten Polyisobutenammoniumverbindungen aus den erhaltenen tertiären Polyisobutenaminen mit Hilfe eines Quaternisierungsmittels. Die Polyisobutenamine oder quaternisierte Polyisobutenammoniumverbindungen werden als Kraftstoffzusatz verwendet, insbesondere bei Dieselmotoren mit Common-Rail-Einspritzsystemen.
