Abstract
Description
かかる採便容器101は、自動検査装置に適するように設計したものであり、先端側にフィルタ保持部103aを介して形成された液溜まり103bを有している。そして、液溜まり103bを上にして検査装置に装着し、容器をスクイズして糞便を懸濁させた懸濁液をフィルタ105で濾過し、その濾液を液溜まり103bに供給して溜め、液溜まり103bに溜まった濾液を検査装置内に取り込むことができるようになっている。
かかる知見に基づいて、本発明者らが、さらなる検討を重ねたところ、採便棒102bに付着した余分な糞便を取り除くために設けた中栓104の先端部の擦り切り部104bを、採便棒102bが挿通し易くなるように円錐状に形成すると、前述した検査の支障の原因になると想到するに至った。すなわち、本発明者らは、擦り切り部104bをこのような形状にすると、液溜まり103bを上にして検査装置内に設置したときに、図9中、斜線で示す擦り切り部104bの周囲に懸濁液が回り込んで容器内の懸濁液の液位が下がることに着目した。そして、これが検査時に容器本体をスクイズした際に、液溜まり103bに十分な量の濾液を供給することができないため検査に支障をきたすことを見出した。
さらに、採便容器1の蓋体2は、蓋部2aの内周面に条設された螺条と、容器本体3内に装着した中栓4の外周面に条設された螺条とにより、螺着によって装着されて容器を密封するようにしてあるが、蓋体2の装着手段はこれに限定されない。容器を密封することができれば、例えば、特に図示しないが、中栓4の外周面に周方向に沿って形成した環状凸部と、蓋部2aの内周面に周方向に沿って形成した環状凸部との係合、或いは何れか一方を環状凹部として嵌合によって蓋体2を装着するようにしてもよい。
また、採便棒2bに付着した糞便の視認性を高めるために、採便棒2bを白色乃至淡色の明度の高い色で着色することが好ましい。特に、糞便の色(褐色乃至黄褐色)の補色に近い淡緑色に着色することがより好ましい。
尚、この傾斜リブ4cは、採便棒2bの擦り切り部4bへの案内を安定させるため、等間隔に複数形成するのが好ましい(図5c、図7参照)。
採便棒2bを擦り切り部4bに案内するには、擦り切り部4bの周囲をすり鉢状に形成するだけでもよいが、それでは中栓4の底面4a側が厚肉になってしまい、成形に要する樹脂量が増えてしまったり、冷却に時間を要して生産速度が遅くなってしまったりする。さらに、冷却時の樹脂の収縮量が大きくなり、寸法安定性の上でも不利となるが、複数の傾斜リブ4cを放射状に配置し(図5(c)、図7参照)、隣接する傾斜リブ4cの間を肉抜きして採便棒案内部を形成することで、このような不都合を有効に回避することができる。
尚、図2に示すように、本実施形態の採便容器にあっては、容器本体3の液溜まり3bの底部と上部をフィルム材F等で封止することができる。これによって、検査に供するまでは容器の密封性を確保しておき、検査に際しては、かかるフィルム材F等を穿刺することによって、容器内の懸濁液を液溜まり3bに供給して溜め、検査に供することができる。フィルム材Fは、アルミニウム箔とポリプロピレン,ポリエチレン等の熱可塑性樹脂とを積層したラミネートフィルムを使用するのが好ましく、液溜まり部3bに熔着される。また、特に図示しないが、フィルム材Fの代わりに容器本体3の先端に螺合、あるいは嵌合する蓋体により密封してもよい。このような蓋体を用いた場合、懸濁液を採取する際には予め蓋体を外しておくか、好ましくは蓋体の中央部を薄肉にしておいて、この薄肉部を穿刺することにより懸濁液を採取する。
なお、図1に示す採便容器1では、容器本体3のフランジ部3cの周縁に凸部3dを形成しているが、中栓4の張り出し部4dの周縁から突出するように同様の凸部を形成してもよく、少なくとも一方に形成すればよい。

Claims (2)
- 容器を密封すると共に、糞便を採取する採便棒を有する蓋体と、
先端側にフィルタ保持部を介して形成された液溜りを有し、基端側が開口する筒状の容器本体と、
前記容器本体の基端側から前記容器本体内に装着される中栓と、を備え、
前記中栓の先端部が長手方向に直交する底面を有すると共に、前記底面の中央には前記採便棒が挿通可能な擦り切り部を有し、
