Abstract
La présente invention concerne une benne basculante destinée à un camion de roulage de mine comprenant un plancher, une paire de parois latérales verticales, une paroi avant, une grille de protection, et une partie de queue s'étendant entre les parois latérales et s'étendant à partir d'une partie arrière du plancher. La benne basculante possède une partie arrière ouverte, chaque paroi latérale possédant un bord supérieur. Le bord supérieur de chaque paroi latérale comprend un premier bord sensiblement de niveau s'étendant entre la paroi avant et, de manière adjacente, une ligne imaginaire s'étendant à partir d'un point de décharge pivot. Il comprend également un deuxième bord incliné s'étendant entre le point de décharge pivot adjacent et se terminant au niveau de la partie de queue. Lors de l'utilisation, la benne basculante réduit la distance de levage requise par une pelle de chargement, ce qui permet de réduire les dommages causés à la benne basculante et d'améliorer le temps de cycle de chargement du camion, menant ainsi à des coûts de fonctionnement plus faibles.
