Definitions
- the present disclosure relates to an electronic device that is detachably equipped with a battery.
- a detachable battery is used in a state of being housed in a battery housing portion of a device housing.
- the battery housing portion is provided with a connection terminal to be connected to the connector (battery terminal) of the stored battery, and the connection portion between the connection terminal of the battery housing portion and the battery connector is sealed for waterproofing or the like.
- a sealing structure that stops may be provided.
- Such a sealed waterproof structure is particularly important in portable electronic devices, and particularly in electronic devices that are used in a state where the battery is exposed to the outside without using a cover or the like that covers the battery housing portion.
- Patent Document 1 has a configuration in which a rubber ring having a circular cross section is attached to the outer periphery of a cylindrical portion on the battery side so that the connection portion between the connection terminal of the battery storage portion and the battery connector is sealed. It is disclosed.
- the rubber ring is mounted so as to be orthogonal to the axis of the cylindrical portion in a side view as usual.
- a ring-shaped The cylindrical part with the sealing member mounted on the outer periphery is positioned on the connector receiving part provided with the connection terminal on the housing side, and the cylindrical part on the battery side is obliquely forward with respect to the battery mounting surface of the battery housing part. Tilt the battery so that it is positioned downward, push the battery forward and tilt it so that the tilt angle becomes small and place it on the battery placement surface of the storage unit, and in the direction parallel to the battery placement surface, It is necessary to connect a connector to the connection terminal.
- the ring-shaped sealing member is greatly different in the pressing state against the sealing member between the upper side and the lower side of the cylindrical part, particularly while the battery is inclined at a large inclination angle. Become. Therefore, when the ring-shaped sealing member is mounted so as to be orthogonal to the axis of the cylindrical portion as usual in a side view, the portion corresponding to the lower side of the cylindrical portion of the sealing member is particularly suitable. There was a problem that it was easy to apply excessive force.
- an excessive force is applied to the ring-shaped sealing member that seals the connection portion between the connection terminal of the battery housing portion and the battery connector even when the battery is detached from the back side of the housing. It was made as a basic purpose to be able to suppress this.
- an electronic device includes (a) a battery in which a connector is provided on a cylindrical part having a ring-shaped sealing member attached to the outer periphery, and a housing having a concave storage part for storing the battery.
- a battery in which a connector is provided on a cylindrical part having a ring-shaped sealing member attached to the outer periphery, and a housing having a concave storage part for storing the battery.
- the predetermined side wall portion of the storage portion is provided with a connector receiving portion that opens along the battery mounting surface of the storage portion and receives the battery tubular portion, and (c) the connector receiving portion.
- the part is a peripheral wall into which the battery tubular part is inserted, and is a bottom wall connected to the battery mounting surface, a ceiling wall disposed opposite to the bottom wall, the ceiling wall and the bottom wall And a rear wall located on the back side of the peripheral wall, the connection being connectable to the connector in a direction parallel to the battery mounting surface. And (d) when the battery is stored in the housing portion of the housing, the battery tubular portion is aligned with the connector receiving portion of the housing portion, and the storage portion is provided.
- the battery-like portion While tilting the battery so that the battery cylindrical portion is positioned obliquely forward and downward relative to the battery mounting surface of
- the battery-like portion is inserted into the peripheral wall of the connector receiving portion, and in this inserted state, the battery is pushed forward and tilted so that the inclination angle becomes small and placed on the battery placement surface of the storage portion.
- the ring-shaped sealing member mounted on the outer periphery of the battery tubular portion is configured to connect the connector to the connection terminal in a direction parallel to the battery mounting surface.
- the portion corresponding to the bottom wall of the connector receiving portion is mounted so as to be inclined in a side view by being positioned rearward in the battery insertion direction by a predetermined amount than the portion corresponding to the ceiling wall. It is a feature.
- the ring-shaped sealing member attached to the outer periphery of the battery cylindrical portion has a portion corresponding to the bottom wall of the connector receiving portion of the housing, rather than a portion corresponding to the ceiling wall. Since it is mounted so as to be inclined in a side view by being positioned rearward in the battery insertion direction by a predetermined amount, especially when the battery is tilted so that the battery cylindrical portion is positioned obliquely forward and downward It is possible to suppress an excessive force from being applied to a portion corresponding to the lower side of the battery cylindrical portion of the member. As a result, for example, it can contribute to suppression of the early life of the sealing member.
- the perspective view which shows the display surface side of the tablet terminal device which concerns on embodiment of this indication The perspective view which shows the back side of the said tablet terminal device; A perspective view of a battery attached to the tablet terminal device; A side view of the battery; The perspective view which shows the connector receiving part of the said tablet terminal device; A longitudinal cross-sectional view partially enlarged showing the connector receiving portion and the cylindrical portion of the battery in a battery-mounted state; A back side of the tablet terminal device and a perspective view of the battery for explaining the mounting operation of the battery; A partial longitudinal cross-sectional view of the tablet terminal device and the battery for explaining the mounting operation of the battery; The longitudinal cross-sectional view which expands and shows partially the said connector receiving part and the cylindrical part of a battery in the initial state of the mounting

- the amount of the ring-shaped sealing member that corresponds to the bottom wall of the connector receiving portion is positioned behind the portion corresponding to the ceiling wall in the battery insertion direction. Since it is larger than the maximum dimension of the cross-section of the stop member, even when the battery is tilted so that the battery cylindrical part is located obliquely forward and downward, it is impossible to apply a part corresponding to the lower part of the battery cylindrical part of the sealing member. Can be suppressed more reliably.
- the portion corresponding to the bottom wall of the connector receiving portion on the outer periphery of the battery cylindrical portion is at least the front portion in the battery insertion direction than the mounting portion of the sealing member during the battery storing operation. You may make it incline in the reverse direction to the direction which inclines the said battery.
- the portion of the outer periphery of the battery tubular portion corresponding to the bottom wall of the connector receiving portion is at least the front surface portion in the battery insertion direction rather than the mounting portion of the sealing member during battery attachment / detachment operation. Is inclined in the direction opposite to the direction of inclining, so that when the battery is inclined so that the battery cylindrical portion is positioned obliquely forward and downward, the front portion is prevented from interfering with the bottom wall of the connector receiving portion.
- the initial operation for attaching and detaching the battery can be easily performed.
- the side wall portion of the peripheral wall of the connector receiving portion may be configured such that at least a portion in contact with the sealing member is inclined corresponding to the inclination of the sealing member.
- the side wall portion of the peripheral wall of the connector receiving portion is configured such that at least a portion in contact with the sealing member is inclined corresponding to the inclination of the sealing member, thereby reducing the side wall portion to the minimum necessary. It is possible to have a limited compact configuration. In the case where at least the side wall portion is formed using a mold such as molding or casting of resin or the like, or forging, the side wall portion is inclined using a die-cutting gradient at the time of modeling.
