Abstract
Disclosed is an antenna-based proximity sensor comprising a housing (12) that includes a tubular element (14) and a cap (38) on the tubular element (14), further comprising a first chamber (22) formed on the tubular element (14), a second chamber (62) formed on the cap (38), a partition (60) between the first chamber (22) and the second chamber (62), a circuit arrangement (24) in the first chamber (22), and a transceiver device (72) that includes an antenna unit (64) which is located in the second chamber (62).
