Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de diagnostic du cancer de la thyroïde et de lésion thyroïdienne bénigne chez un patient in vitro. Ledit procédé comprend : - l'obtention d'un échantillon biologique prélevé sur un patient; - la détermination de la quantité d'un ou plusieurs miARN choisis dans l'ensemble consistant en miR-146b-5p, miR-146b-3p, miR-22l-5p, miR-221-3p, miR-222-5p, miR-222- 3p, miR-181a-5p et miR-182-5p dans un échantillon biologique; - la comparaison du niveau d'expression des microARN obtenus à ceux du groupe témoin, procédé dans lequel le patient est diagnostiqué comme porteur d'un cancer et/ou d'une lésion bénigne si le niveau d'expression des miARN dans l'échantillon biologique est modifié par rapport au niveau d'expression observé dans des échantillons de fluides biologiques provenant de sujets sains. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation médicale des miARN susmentionnés et de kits de diagnostic permettant la détermination des miARN dans un échantillon biologique.
