Abstract

La présente invention concerne le domaine de la médecine et plus particulièrement l'ophtalmologie; elle vise à soigner des maladies pernicieuses de la cornée telles que le kératocône et d'autres kératectasies. Dans l'un des aspects, l'invention porte sur un médicament destiné au traitement du kératocône et d'autres maladies pernicieuses et comprend en tant que principe actif une quantité efficace d'amine avec des fonctions sous forme de sel ou dans la composition d'un composé complexe de métal de transition, ou leurs mélanges. Dans d'autres aspects, l'invention porte sur d'autres préparations pharmaceutiques dans lesquelles on emploie le médicament, et notamment : 1) une préparation pharmaceutique se présentant comme une solution aqueuse de médicament destinée à être introduite dans la poche conjonctivale par voie d'installations; 2) une préparation pharmaceutique se présentant comme un gel oculaire comportant le médicament et destiné à être placé sous la paupière inférieure; 3) une préparation pharmaceutique se présentant comme un film médicamenteux comprenant le médicament et destiné à être placé sous la paupière inférieure; 4) un médicament se présentant comme des lentilles de contact médicamenteuses contenant le médicament et destinées à être placées à la surface de la cornée.
