Abstract

The invention relates to a roller mill for the comminution of brittle grinding stock by means of two grinding rolls (1, 2) which are driven in opposite directions and define a grinding gap (3). The grinding rolls have a diameter of at least 1.8 m and are mounted on a machine frame that is supported on a base (4), the machine frame consisting only of two longitudinal bars (5, 6) that extend transversely to the grinding gap (3).
